Darouse Foundations

Review: I signed a contract with Darouse Foundations in Nov. 2013 through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to have my house elevated. When Darouse's salesman [redacted] came to the house and did the sales pitch he stated that all the cracks and anything broken during the elevation would be repaired. I went and signed the contract and was told it would take 6 weeks to complete the job. It is now April 2014 and I am having problems with the company completing the repairs that were a result of the lift. There are cracks along my inside walls, caulking along my crown molding, cracks in my bathroom tiles, gap in my hardwood floor, cracks in my driveway, the stucco on the outside of my house, my grass in the back yard was destroyed, and water leak below my circuit panel (plumber states there is no leak, but that area is saturated with water) that still have not be repaired. They relocated gas line, but the old pipe is still sticking out the wall. The electrical wire for my jacuzzi tub was cut and they are refusing to repair that and stating it was never connected to the panel. I have had electrical work done (new A/C panel installed to side of house (to move A/C off deck), ceiling fan installed on deck, outside light with camera on deck, and outside light in front of house with camera) within the last 3 years and if that was never connected to the panel I would have had that repaired. I was also told they would repair the cracks but not paint. My 5 ft. ladder was removed and never replaced, the shovel and wheel barrel were replaced . I have been going round for round with them for 4 months over the electrical tub repair and decided to not replace the cracked tile and have them fix the electrical problem with the tub, but then [redacted] (supervisor over the job) called me liar, "stating that if the tub was connected I would not be making deals to forgo the repair of the tiles. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and disrespected because I am a woman.Desired Settlement: [redacted] has already been paid $80,000 by the State of Louisiana and I would like for them to complete the job that was contracted by me through the State and I want everything repaired that was a result of the elevation.
