To all, Darrell's Lawn Care & Landscaping company is the most professional Landscaping service that I have dealt with The owner and co-workers are courteous and they always go above and beyond to not only satisfy the customer but to insure that the best service possible is provided What I also like is that if I have a "dumb" queston, I always receive an answer thati s best for our property and not solely to bring income to the companyAlso I don't have to be home to watch over the job site It will be done right the first time or corrected by the owner promptly Bottom line Darrell's Lawn Care & Landscaping is the go to company for all your LANDSCAPING services! This could easily be a Negative Review - but I can't say anything about his work because he never did any for meDarrell came out on a Saturday morning and we talked about our two primary issues and some minor ones, including lawncareHe said he would send me an estimate
It arrived Monday evening (all email is done after his work day)It listed Labor and PartsPeriodNo description of work to be performedI emailed him and said I would like a description of his work so that I can be sure I am getting what he and I agreed upon AND what I was paying forHe agreed
Two days later, I get this email: Len, thank you for the opportunity but, My schedule is booked for the next monthI'm going turn down job offer! My apologies
This was the first time he mentioned his crowded schedule, although we talked as if he would do it in the next week or soDarrell Lawn Care is of my local businesses to call list

I hired Darrell's Lawn Care to plant some shrubs and clean off some weeds and brush from the rear of my home He suggested some other work to make my lawn look nice I suggested stretching out my flower beds and tying other beds together using pine needles He put down the needles but didn't kill the grass underneath I mentioned this to him and he came back and killed the grass around the beds (outside the needles) leaving ugly dead brown areas around my flower bed and trees He was suppose to trim some trees and remove weed and debris from a slop in the rear of my home After he trimmed trees, he left the trimming/limbs laying there, not cleaning up behind himself making the slop worst than before All in all, my yard looks worst now than it did before The shrubs he put in were of poor quality and looks sick His description of what he would do sounded great but the results were extremely poor and of the opposite results My family and friends could not believe that this was done by a "professional lawn care company" that I paid him for such poor work As I said, my yard looks worst now than it did before I would never recommend him to anyone and of course I will never do business with him again Let me say this was a very expensive lesson (in the tune of $1000.00+) I really got ripped off
We have used Darrell several timesHe always provides an accurate estimate before the work is scheduled and he has no problem adjusting work to be done if necessaryWork is efficient and excellentWorkers are very polite and respectful and always ask you to check their work when they are finishedWill definitely continue to call for his lawn servicesAlso when they leave there is no remaining yard debris/trash to show that yard work was just done
I have used Darrell's Lawn Care for quite a few years and have never been disappointed with their work They are competitively & reasonably priced and always do what they say they will do I have never had a problem with them and do recommend them
