Customer, *** *** originally called Critter Control of Columbus because she was hearing a scratching noise in the atticAn appointment was set for a technician to do an inspection of the home. A service contract was signed which authorized Critter
Control of Columbus to be on the property, as well as states the cost for the initial inspection and the animal removal fees, if applicable. The initial inspection revealed that there was squirrel activity present in/on the house. Live traps were set at the front and back of the home on April 11, 2017. On April 13, our technician contacted Mrs*** to advise that a nursing squirrel had been trapped and removed. She was asked to advise of any further noise, in the event that a litter was on the premisesThe traps were reset and checked the following day, on a Friday. On April 14, the technician noted that a trap had been tripped, but was empty. He placed a temporary doorway over the entry point and placed bait in the traps that were wired open over the weekend. By doing this, he would know if any activity would occur over the weekend. The following Monday, April 17, the technician noted that the bait was missing, which indicated that activity was still occurring. On April 18, the technician noted that the front trap was tripped again, but there was no captureOn April 19th a squirrel was removed. On April 20th a squirrel was removed. On April 21st squirrels were removed. On April 21, the technician placed another temporary doorway over the front entry point for the weekend. Upon arriving Monday, April 24, the technician noted that there was no new activity over the weekend. The technician re-inspected the attic, reviewed photos with Mrs*** and noted that there was no new activity. Trapping services concluded on this day and Mrs*** indicated that she did not want Critter Control of Columbus to do the necessary repairs. Our technician provided all services outlined in the service contract signed by Mrs***, which included an inspection and removal of squirrels. Our technician did conduct a second inspection at her request. We apologize for the miscommunication on our end regarding the second follow up attic inspection. However, all contracted services were rendered accordingly Jeremy *** Critter Control Columbus/Dayton/Toledo *** ***

This response outlined what I had already writtenI know the timeline of the services that were performedThe response did not address my concerns over repeated trapping even thought we live on a wooded lotWhy was that necessary? The response did not address the fact that I was told that trapping would last week and it lasted over that amount of time and subsequently I was charged fees for squirrel removalThe response did not address the fact that that I still have yet to be called back/emailed back regarding my concerns even though I was told that would occur by "Mary Dawn" weeks ago after voicing a complaintWhat is the complaint process that this company follows? At my job, we have days from the time a complaint is received to make contact with the personI think that the majority of businesses have a complaint process outlinedDoes Critter Control not have a complaint process? Additionally, the response references that a second attic inspection was conducted "at my request"I was told that the attic would be inspected as part of the service chargeOur house has points of attic accessOnly were inspected so technically that was not fulfilledI did not push the point because the activity was clearly in one portionI don't understand why I had to push the point to have the area with squirrels inspected? Also, in the response it references that I refused Critter Control in doing the neccessary repairsThat is not trueI was never even offered that serviceAfter I was shown the pictures the technician asked how I was going to proceed and I stated that my husband's uncle was a general contractor and we would probably have to have him come over to do the repairsAt no point did he say Critter Control did repairsFinally, the fact that I was stood up by the company after utilizing my own personal vacation time was blown off as "miscommunication"I do not see how that response serves as any type of resolution
Regards,*** ***
