They didn't tell me what I was getting until after the session.  When I entered I said I wanted to go red because I needed a change.  I never told Annalisa I liked to change up my hair a lot.  If the business had to contact someone who was certified through the american board of certified haircolorists then does that mean that Annalisa doesn't have her license? The fact still remains the color came out.  I was blown off and not given what I had asked for.  I was deceived by Annalisa and I think they should make good on it.

You have given so many different accounts of what happened.... We stand by our original statement.

Amanda came in on August *, 2015 for an appointment with Annalisa; she wanted to change her hair color from a medium brown with highlights to a vibrant red. During her consultation, Amanda said she likes to change up her color often. Annalisa told her that a glaze, which is a demi-permanent hair...

color that lasts anywhere from 8-12 weeks, would be her best option.  It doesn’t leave a line of demarcation like permanent color would and is easier to lift out in case she wanted to change her color in the near future.  Amanda was fully on board with this option and never mentioned in her consultation that she wanted a permanent hair color. Amanda was told that red is a hard color to keep in the hair; the molecule of red is larger than that of any other color molecule, so it does fade out quicker. This type of process would need to be maintained more often. The procedure performed was “corrective color” and she was charged accordingly.  She went elsewhere without telling us she had a problem to this extent. Revdex.com states that she should’ve come to us first. The $175.00 was for a double process service to ensure her color would be true to what she wanted and for extra color because her hair needed more saturation. It also included a haircut/blow style, which she stated was gorgeous over the phone. Also, the permanent color Amanda mentioned in her complaint would have cost her more. When the salon was contacted on Saturday August [redacted], she only mentioned some red color in her shampoo suds and it was faded slightly, which is normal. Never did she mention anything like she is describing. Annalisa had told her that if it continues to fade out, to call the salon and we will correct the issue. The first time we found out how upset she was, was through a [redacted] review on Monday August [redacted], which we quickly responded too during closed business hours. We would never “blow off" any client. After hearing of this issue, we contacted our educator Barbara L[redacted], who is certified through the American Board of Certified Haircolorists. We explained the formula used on Amanda and showed her pictures of what she sent us. Barbara stated that the color used on her would've never faded to the color pictured, ever.  Our Salon offers 100% satisfaction guarantee! You can refer to our salon policy on our website... [redacted]s . We are sincerely sorry Amanda was not satisfied with her color. We really can’t understand why Amanda did not give us the opportunity to give her a color she would be happy with, free of charge.

My story isn't changing.  I have a witness who watched the color come out, pictures and experts.  Either you can work with me and give me some type of refund, or I can see you in small claims court.
