To Whom it May Concern,DAS Global has settled the claim with [redacted] and payment will be sent to him in the next 7-10 business days.  I have attached a copy of his signed settlement agreement for your reference.  Thank you.

Review: I selected DAS Global Services, Inc. to transport our vehicle from [redacted] to [redacted] DAS kept our vehicle at the originating terminal for over a month stating that a carrier was unavailable. [redacted] VP of DAS apologized via email stating it was unacceptable and stated that DAS would reimburse for our car rental up to $50/day, from July 29 - Aug 27 (the date that our vehicle was available for pick up). I have contacted [redacted] repeatedly by phone, text, and email to obtain instructions for the $1062.69 reimbursement and he has been completey unresponsive. August 6 was the last time he emailed me and it included him saying "Once we confirm the sailing (Friday) we will process our prior agreed service recovery for you and your daughter".

I have phone records (7/14, 7/21-23, 7/25, 8/4, 8/21-22, 8/26, 9/4-5, 9/8) and email records ((7/22-23, 7/25, 7/30, 8/1, 8/4, 8/6, 8/11, 8/18, 8/21, 8/25, 9/4-5). I've waited to long and given him too many chances to be professional and honor his words.Desired Settlement: Refund for the car rental as he agreed in writing to me via email. This totals $1062.69.

Our sales team and customer service representatives do their best to provide accurate information to our customers regarding the transit of their vehicles in a timely manner. We are more than willing to rectify this situation and reimburse [redacted] for the rental costs that were agreed upon by her and [redacted]However, in order to do so we require a copy of her rental receipt. Therefore, I have emailed [redacted] ([email protected]) asking that she provide me with a copy of the receipt for review and reimbursement processing. Thank you for your time. ?

Review: DAS Global Services (DAS) shipped my car from Honolulu, ** to [redacted] During the shipment, the right front door was damaged at the mid-point with a baseball sized dent that was not present when the vehicle (2009 VW Tiguan) was turned over to DAS. When I received the vehicle, the new dent was noted by the DAS representative on the receipt form. I initiated the DAS claims process in accordance with their procedures including obtaining two estimates for the vehicle repairs (per DAS request). DAS denied my claim, stating that the large dent was present at the origin based on the form that marked all small scratches, blemishes, and indentations. Although a small indentation was present on the door in question (several inches above the new large dent), the large dent that occurred during the shipping process was clearly not present at the origin.

Fortunately, my wife ([redacted]) took pictures of the vehicle at the origin during the turnover inspection process that clearly indicate that the dent was not present. Those pictures and pictures of the dent, which were taken upon receipt of the vehicle, were sent to DAS. My vehicle was in immaculate condition at the origin and now has a large baseball sized dent on the right front door due to DAS shipping negligence and procedural errors.

In addition, obtaining the two estimates took time from my job and was done in good faith believing that DAS would repair my vehicle.Desired Settlement: In accordance with DAS policy, I request DAS pay to repair my vehicle to remove the new, large dent on the right front door using the estimates that I have already provided them as a basis.
