Hello I did respond to this complaint, please see below From: [redacted] Sent: Friday, February 16, 1:PM To [redacted] Cc: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] ***nt, [redacted] , called on March 17, at 12:pm with the following complaint: “Tenant called, stated that the gutter drain on the side of the house with the walkway is not on properly and is dripping lots of melted snow onto the side steps which is icing overI informed tenant to get salt, and we will repair the gutter drain.” A work order was created, and we repaired the gutter the next business day In April of we had Surety Construction repair part of the roof because there was poor insulation The tenant called back in again complaining about the water dripping on the walkway (when it was getting warmer), so we re-pitched the gutter after the ice melted We provided an estimate to the owner asking if we could install roofing heat cable along both sides bottom edges of the roofing along the gutters, WHICH WILL PREVENT ICICLES I am currently waiting for permission to do the work Per all tenant leases...they are responsible to do their own shoveling and putting down rock salt We send someone there to shovel the sidewalks and a pathway to the doors as a courtesy As you can see, we are not ignoring the situation We have taken action and made several attempts to fix this issue At this point, we are waiting for the owner of the property to decide if he would like us to go ahead with having the heat cable installed Visit us on our new web site [redacted] and like us on Facebook [redacted] Thank You, If there is anything else you need please feel free to contact me Lisa F* Dasa Properties, LLC Licensed Real Estate Broker South Park Avenue Buffalo, New York Phone: [redacted] *** Fax: ( [redacted]

Ok here's the thing I didn't move in under this Dasa company.The person that owned the building would come and take care of just about everything from cutting the grass to shoveling the snow.I've been bringing up the icicle issue to Dasa for years now.aThis company always gives me the run around or disregard everything I say to them.Ive even asked for the landlords name or a way to contact him which I was given a attitude and told they own the property after this I went to my mom to pull the tax records up on the property and it showed that they did not own the property.I dont care what they do all I want is not to get hurt and Dasa shows no regards to that.What is it going to take before you realize the danger that is presented.I don't mind shoveling my own snow but the snow isn't the issue its the ice form from the content leaking of the gutters.Yes they sent someone out to knock the ice down but that doesn't fix the issue

very low class business, will rent to anyone, mostly section 8 tenants. If you are looking for a nice quiet and clean apartment with respectful neighbors this is not the place for you. Dasa properties bought the apartment I was living in from my previous landlord and when a worker from Dasa did their initial walk through all he could talk about was how clean my house was compared to most of their other properties (and it wasn't even that clean at the time). If you have any problems while living in one of their properties don't expect to have it fixed any time soon. We went weeks without heat in the middle of the winter two separate times. The first time someone told us we would have to wait until monday for someone to come fix it (it was saturday when it broke) and we had to practically beg them for someone to come sooner, so someone came and all they did was drop off two small space heaters and told us to wait until monday. The next winter the heater broke again and it took over two weeks for someone to even return our phone call, we had to go out and buy multiple space heaters until someone finally got back to us. When we finally found a new apartment and it was time to get our security deposit back they claimed they didn't have any proof that we paid a security deposit and that they had been trying to get a security deposit from us for the past 3 years. We had not EVER received even one phone call asking us to pay another security deposit or to show proof we paid a security deposit to our previous landlord EVER. Three months after we moved out and I still hadn't received our security deposit and had not heard anything from dasa (nothing by phone OR mail) I called to see what was going on and they told me the apartment was cleaner than when I moved in, with no damages but wasn't getting anything back because they didn't have proof I had paid a security deposit when I moved in, when I told them I had the receipt for the security deposit I paid to the previous owner I was told that was not their problem and that I would have to get ahold of my old landlord if I wanted anything back. If you want to be treated with any thread of respect please do not rent from these people. No matter who you are/how much money you make/how great your credit is they will treat you like you are a sg who doesn't pay their bills. You literally could not pay me to live in our of their properties ever again.

I was a customer of Dasa for about 9 months. Unfortunately I had many unpleasant experiences with them.
1) Before joining them, I was told that repairs by them consist of labor (quoted price per hour) and parts. When I received invoices ( that were very overpriced!) - I never received details of the labor vs parts. I always received a total of both labor and parts together. When I asked for the details, I was told that that was impossible (?!). When I asked, 'then how did you come up with such a price?' I never got a straight answer.
2) When I left, although both I and my new managing company sent email/telephone messages, they collected the new months rent and didnt transfer it until the 25th of the month instead of on the 10th, as it said on my contract with them. They also subtracted the full management percentage from that amount, even though they did no management at all for that month.
3) Although I am from out of state and inexperienced, they made me find my own insurance person (until finally they saw that they MUST help me) and did not recommend which insurance plan to take plus they required me to change the name on the water and heat - things that management companies usually do for you.
