Review: I purchased a used vehicle from Dash Motors, the sales guy said it came with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty. When I went to make the final payment I was given the paper that states I have a 30 day warranty. Monday, June 3rd, the vehicle failed the inspection so we took it in for repair. We were told the tie rods would be covered by this 30 day warranty and that we would receive a callback. We waited a couple days for a call but never received one. Thursday, June 6th, we still had not received a call so I called Dash Motors and requested an update for my vehicle: Much to my surprise, I was told no work was being done to my vehicle and that I did not have a warranty because there was some sort of misunderstanding and no documents had been signed. My significant other went that day to speak to them. He was informed that we did not have a warranty and that they wouldn't cover anything. Despite the fact that we were told this car came with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty, we had the paper proving it was under 30 day warranty, and one of their sales people guaranteed the tie rod was covered, we were denied the service based on a “misunderstanding”. When asked why they never called us as they said they would, they would not answer the question and simply blew it off. When asked if we could then return the vehicle, since we were essentially lied to regarding the warranty they said all sales are final. When I asked about the “misunderstanding” I was told that there is no bumper to bumper warranty and what they offer only covers the drive train and engine, they then told me to look on the back of my warranty paper for proof; however, the back of the warranty paper is blank. Dash Motors pulled a bait and switch on us; we would never have purchased this vehicle if it did not come with a 30 day warranty. It is clear that we were used to make a sale and nothing else. The customer service at this dealership is extremely poor, it is obvious they do not care about their customers and are only worried about the money. I would also like to mention that the first salesman we worked with was fired when we went to pick up the vehicle and the second salesman was fired when we went to prove we had the warranty. Dash responded to an email I sent stating that the warranty only covers the powertrain system; however, we were explicitly told that the tire rods were covered under warranty. Dash Motors has changed what they offered me each time we went there. A contract is a contract, be it written or verbal.Desired Settlement: Dash has a responsibility to honor what they say, if they verbally tell you something is covered, it should be covered. If they say your are getting something, they should give that to you. Again, a bait and switch is completely unacceptable.

In reference to complaint ID# [redacted] made by [redacted]. Dash Motors does not provide, nor sell "Bumper to Bumper" warranties, neither do any of the warranty companies we work with carry it for used vehicles. [redacted] had a 30 day/1000 mile Limited Power Train Warranty which covers: Internally Lubricated Engine Parts, Internally Lubricated Transmission Parts and Front & Rear Drive Axles. This is stated in the Buyer's Guide which [redacted] received a copy of and signed at the time of purchase.

[redacted] dropped off the car for us to take a look at, complaining about the AC making noise, breaks squeaking and tire rod needing replacement. He was informed by several staff members that none of it was covered under the warranty that came with his vehicle, but if he would like we were willing to take a look at it and give him an estimate. He left the car to get an estimate and came back a few days later to pick it up with a gun strapped to his side, trying to intimidate the staff. He was told there were no issues with the AC or brakes and how much would it cost to replace the tire rod. He then stated that it should be covered under warranty and we explained to him that it wasn't. We went over Buyer's Guide and what it covered, but [redacted] did not want to hear it and said he wanted to return the car and get a refund. We said that we don't take vehicles back without a valid reason. He then pointed at a sign on our wall and said that it stated for full refunds, which in fact was a sign stating " All Holding Deposits are Nonrefundable". [redacted] then left unsatisfied with his demand and threatened to report us to Revdex.com. Later that week we received an email from his wife to which we have promptly responded. Attached please find copies of both email and our response, along with a copy of the Buyer's Guide.
