Lee [redacted]; the owner of this company is by far the most inappropriate, unprofessional, vulgar man that I have ever met or done business with. He was demeaning to women and made extremely inappropriate sexual comments to me, to the point where I probably should have filed a sexual harassment. He is a major pervert and a liar. He made up several grandiose stories about himself and his "great work." Lee [redacted] is a loose cannon and a thief! He made several threats to not finish the job until he was paid in full up front and then never showed up for days on end to finish the job. We had to call the police because of his temper and the threats he made to burn down our house if he wasn't paid. This man needs to go to anger management and definitely should not be a business owner. He never finished flooring or backsplash and stole our materials. He is a thief, liar, and a pervert! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

On that last Tuesday, [redacted] arrived at 7:00 am. He seemed more confused than usual. He spent quite a while searching for something before asking if we had seen where he set down his coffee. I told him he didn't bring any in with him. He then went out to get his coffee and took it in the room he was working in and spilled it. Then he asked my husband for some of our coffee. My husband told him it was ok but it was decaf so [redacted] said he was going to the gas station to get some regular. My husband gave him clear directions to the Shell station that's two miles from our house. It was 40 minutes later when I asked my husband for [redacted] phone number so I could call him to find out where he was as he hadn't returned yet. As my husband picked up the phone, [redacted] was pulling in our driveway. When he came inside, he said he had gotten lost. By the time he got situated and got all his tools together, [redacted] actually worked 50 minutes from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Lee woke us up at 5:30 am to tell us he was coming at 7:00 am. to fumble around my house, spill coffee and go for a drive to buy coffee! I am normally a patient person but this clown was wearing on my last nerve! If my husband and I were having a conversation, [redacted] would come and interrupt us just like a small child. It took all my husband had to keep him working. [redacted] has the attention span of a three-year old. He worked three four-days and two six-hour days and I couldn't take it anymore! At 11:20 am., [redacted] announced he was going to lunch. He returned at 1200 noon and announced, "I'm back and I'm ready to work!" It as 12:40 pm before [redacted] finished all his bathroom breaks, smoke breaks and phone calls and was actually ready to go back to work and that is when I told him I needed to have a word with him about his inability to keep focused and lack of work ethic. I also spoke to [redacted] about him asking my husband for more money for materials. [redacted] attempted to deny it and responded, "I asked [redacted] for more money?" I told [redacted] not to play games; I had heard him ask [redacted] and again [redacted] repeated what I said, "You heard me ask [redacted] bought materials for two bedrooms and one bathroom but there was still one bathroom, one bedroom, the walk-in closet and the stairs going down to the basement left to do and there was only materials left to finish the bedrooms and he was out of money. Apparently he used the money we gave him on something else. My husband went to Menard's and requested to see the order that [redacted] had purchased for our project and it appeared he spent approximately $3,400.00 on our flooring--so he was charging us almost double for the materials he had purchased to that date and wanted more money. My husband told him that wasn't going to happen; we had already giving him the money for materials. At the end of the day, [redacted] told my husband that I reemed him a new one. I will be the first one to say that I am VERY direct. I do not mix words and I'm sure to a person of [redacted] lack of character, it must have seemed like I was. Yes, I was confronting him. He had overcharged us on materials and getting him to work was like pulling teeth. He told us so many lies, he couldn't keep them straight. [redacted] refused to come back to work after Tuesday. We had to purchase more materials for the bathroom and finish that room, as well as the third bedroom. [redacted] had left his tools here and asked my husband to drive them over to him. My husband told [redacted] he could pick them up here. My husband gathered all his tools and put them at the end of our driveway and took a photo of everything as [redacted] had texted and said he wanted to pick up his tools by 1200 noon that day. Noon came and went and [redacted] was a no show so my husband brought all his tools back inside the garage. A few days later, two police officers knock on the door and announce they are escorting [redacted] to get his tools. Then to top it all off, (and I spoke to him about not texting us at 5:30 am too) he texted us at 4:30 am to appologize, saying everything was his fault and he was filing bankruptcy but he was not going to list us on the claim. He also said he would return our money and he takes full responsibility for what he's done. A few days later we get the notice that he's filed bankruptcy and he's listed us as one of his creditors. This guy has been nothing but a big pain in the butt! Since this has happened, we have learned that he has had issues regarding inappropriate behavior with female customers and not finishing jobs with other customers. He was kicked out of Menard's for inappropriate behavior towards a female sales clerk at the customer service desk and he's had issues with Lumber Liquidators and complaints from their customers, as well.

I hired [redacted]s, owner of All Ways Flooring, to install hard wood flooring and rebuild a stair case in May of 2014. The materials were bought from Lumber Liquidators in De Pere, WI, and All Ways Flooring was the contractor recommended. The job did not start until Aug. of 2014. The explanation for the delay was attributed to being overbooked, and personal problems in [redacted] life. [redacted] his lead on the flooring crew was professional and hard working, he and his helper showed up when they said they would and did a nice job. I wish I could say the same for [redacted]. He would call and say he would be here between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM and would show up at 12:30 PM. He seemed to think he could show up and do whatever he felt like doing whenever he felt like doing it. His primary job here was to rebuild the staircase, and replace the old particle board treads and pine risers with solid oak to match the flooring on the first floor. He turned a 2 to 3 week job,(according to [redacted]) into 6 weeks. He boasts that his craftsmanship is second to none, (he told me one time that there are three ways to do a job. The right way, the wrong way, and my way, and I do things my way). I wish he had done the job the right way. The stairs turned out less than satisfactory, and I had to hire another contractor to finish the job. My experience with him is that he came across as a prince right up until I signed the contract and made a down payment on the job, then he seemed to think he could say and do inappropriate things to both me and my family. I didn't think that I needed to do a background check on [redacted] or his business, but I learned otherwise and won't make that mistake again. I personally don't trust him, and would not recommend him as a contractor. I would never hire him again. [redacted]
