This company has a hard inquiry on my credit reports dated 2/17/2015 and they need to remove it immediately. I checked my credit and it showed an inquiry on 2/17/2015 from DataFacts out of [redacted] TN. I am not sure why this company would do such a thing, but I am requesting this company to immediately remove themselves from my credit reports, because I have never nor will ever do business with them nor or in the future.Desired SettlementI am requesting the company DataFacts to remove themselves immediately from all three of my credit reports.Business Response Dear Ms. [redacted],We responded to Ms. [redacted] regarding her dispute on 6/26/15. We are credit reseller that provides third party access to the credit bureaus [redacted] and [redacted] for the purposes of [redacted] and [redacted] We told Ms. [redacted] that her credit was accessed by [redacted] with [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] stated if she need to speak to her about credit to contact her at XXX-XXX-XXXX.I am inclosing the letter that we have sent to Ms. [redacted].Please feel free to contact me if you have any further question.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Director

Datafacts has misrepresented facts on my three credit reports. They take the credit report and manipulate it with their own software.I applied to[redacted] for a refinance of my[redacted] mortgage. I wanted to consolidate One Main Financial and a car loan I have with[redacted]. I talked to each one of the 3 credit bureaus and asked why these comments were made in regard to my credit. All three credit bureaus have stated that all they do is send the credit report. Datafacts has their own software which then manipulates the data. They cited accounts that are over 4 -5 years old and have nothing to do with my willingness or ability to make a payment of $61.00/month difference in my Mortgage payment. There are none with a negative balance. I have had my mortgage loan with[redacted] since July 2008 and never missed a payment or late. All other accounts are current.Desired SettlementDatafacts is a third party credit reporting agency that takes a credit report and manipulates the credit history with their own software. I want this practice to stop and take another look at my credit file. I have talked to several people at Datafacts and I have always received a different story. A person today even told me to the call [redacted] and ask for their Mortgage Division. The gentleman thought I was nuts. All three have stated the same thing: No matter who pulls a credit report - a credit report is a credit report and they do not have any determination in a risk factor and someones worthiness for a loan. I want Data Facts to take my credit reports and not manipulate them. Transunion has reported to me a much higher credit score than after the manipulation of Datafacts. There is almost a 100 point difference.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Leeds, VP,ComplianContact Phone: 901-312-8643Contact Email: [redacted]@datafacts.comRevdex.com, Data Facts is a Consumer Reporting Agency and Reseller of[redacted] and [redacted] consumer and business data. We do not omit, distort or manipulate any credit data. Mortgage companies or lenders will use our services for a variety of lending solution products and includes pulling credit from all 3 Repositories ([redacted] and[redacted]). Most mortgage lenders use credit scores to help them make lending decisions, each lender has its own strategy, including the level of risk it finds acceptable for a given credit product. FICO(r) Scores are the best-known and most widely used credit scores. FICO scores are provided by the [redacted]. Most credit scores used in the US and Canada are produced from software developed by FICO(r). FICO(r) Scores are provided to lenders by the three major credit reporting agencies:[redacted] and[redacted]. When lenders order a credit report, they can also buy a FICO(r) Score that is based on the information in the report. That FICO(r) Score is calculated by a mathematical equation that evaluates many types of information from the credit report at the repository. The scores may be different at each of the 3 credit reporting agencies as the FICO score only considers the data in the credit file from that agency. There are many types of FICO scores and lenders will use variants of FICO Scores. Mortgage lenders are using the FICO scoring model approved by [redacted]. Fair Isaac has many different scores available to lenders but only 2 available to consumers. With that being said I don't believe Ms. [redacted] has ordered a credit score from FICO directly. Ms. [redacted] states she received her credit report from[redacted] which has a higher credit score than the one she received from her lender. The Credit report Data Facts supplied has a FICO score that has been approved by [redacted]. More than likely her paperwork will state that the credit score number she has is NOT a FICO score. It is our understanding that[redacted] does not sell a FICO score direct to consumers. The scoring systems are different and are not related in any way. I can sympathize with Ms. [redacted]'s frustration. Credit Scores are confusing. If you go onto the www.myfico.com website you will see several comments and questions regarding this same subject. FICO has an article that explains this http://www.myfico.com/crediteducation/questions/why-three-scores.aspxConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)A credit report is a credit report. I have no delinquency, no bankrupty, no public record accounts. I have a mortgage through [redacted] which I have paid on time since July 2008. The information that is being used by Data Facts is old information. I have zero dollars in negative credit. All bills are paid on time. Something is wrong with the system. I would say what is being used is information that makes a homeowner pay a higher interst rate. I still do not feel that DataFacts is reporting the true picture of my credit.
