Review: I sold my car to [redacted] in 2006. His car at the time got towed away and he never changed the car under his name.
the above-mentioned company reported me for the amount owed. I contacted Data Line several times and they said the finally will remove the item in April 2015.
i'd like to make sure they remove it from my credit report.
also the item has been on my report for over 7 years.Desired Settlement: please delete the item.
Review: This is a collections company. I have a collections on my account that has not been any history or payments made since 12/2009. They recently updated the date of the collection to May 2015. This is not correct. The collection is for

Review: I have been harassed by a Mr. [redacted] (actual name [redacted]) for the past four years. A car I no longer own, was towed four years ago. When I first received a collection notice, I went to the DMV got proof that the car was in fact NOT in my name the time it was towed and mailed it to Mr. [redacted], yet it is still on my credit. I asked Mr. [redacted] what documentation should I present to show once again the FACT that care is/was not in my name, and he responded with "it's not my problem" I told him that I won't pay a debt that I am not responsible for. I simply need to know what steps I should take to have this removed from my credit. He is hostile, rude, and incompetent and shouldn't be in business any longer. I also looked up Data Line Credit Corp. and found this isn't the first complaint they've received. This is my SECOND time reporting them to the B.B.B. my next move will be to file a formal complaint with the police department for harassment.Desired Settlement: I would like this collection to be REMOVED from my credit, as I previously stated the car in question, was not in my name. I am beyond frustrated to have this man still sending me letters attempting to collect a debt I am not responsible for. It has been four years and I have had enough with this company and whole situation.
