car came in for requested parts to be replacedWe changed the

This part is trueThe ENGINE torch struts I was TOLD where cracked and needed replacedWhich I agreed to with out seeingAT THIS POINT IF the cracked broken fire wall was pre-existing, WHY DIDN"T HE SAY SOMETHING when he called about the struts?
We
contacted customer to inform him that the coil pack was cracked and
the coil pack had major corrosion on the terminals.I was TOLD over the phone that the coil pack has crakes in itThis call came after the engine struts call.To my knowledge they DID NOT exist prior to MrDunn's phone call. the car ran FINE when brought inIt was only towed because of warnings of operating failure due to the BAD alternatorI believe, do to the fact of the location of the coil pack and ALL the broken and cracked parts in my car this was ALSO done by MrDunn and Rob's Auto.While
working on the car we noticed other issues that would keep the car
from running properTwo spark plugs where soaked with oil which
basically means the valve cover gaskets and spark tube seals need to
be replacedThis statement is makes NO senseIssues that would\d make the car NOT runWell it ran for the tow truck driverHow do you see internal oil soaked spark plugsThere where no signs of oil leaks on the valve coversAgain, this is MrDunn's word ONLY with NO proofYes, I did receive another call when they got to this point!

also stated that he lost the brake fluid cap, we couldn't find it so
we ordered him a new one and installed for freeThis car has many
other issues that where noted yet refused to fix at this timeWe
noticed the strut mounts where loose so we tightened both down at no
charge
I deliberately asked for this 'CAP' to be locatedIt was NOTIt was NOT! This is a 'Blatant' lieWhen I was told the car was ready I asked again if they found and removed the brake cap? I was told NO, not to his knowledgeI was insistent that it be found and removedMrDunn said they would look again and call me backHe called back and said, ' the noise you are hearing is from the strut and we tightened it and it is fine(not both)The noise and 'cap' are still there! He did NOTHING to the struts!
After
replacing the Alternator we checked the battery and it tested bad,
most likely because the alternator was defective killing the battery
In my original complaint and above I have stated the battery was fine, it is fairly NEW and started twice for the tow truck driver and for me when it was dropped offThe receipt of the test date is also wrong and quite possibly so his the test equipment!
This
customer also stated that his car gets vandalized nightly by someone
who has an extra set of car keys.Yes, I did tell MrDunn this FACT, the day I picked the car up! After MrDunn's service was complete! I also asked him if he could tell the car had been rolled! This man is a manipulative, truth deprived individual
Unfortunately
this customer not only didn't appreciate the extra effort and repairs
we did for free, he was unhappy with just about everything else with
his car
When I picked up my car there where large hand grease prints on the dash, which I complained about and was immediately cleanedI did NOT inspect MrDunn's work prior to paying for the service because the CHURCH and family had pre-paid prior to pick upI am a year old disabled man with little fundsThis man caused more damage hen they fixed. Free work! He did nothing to the struts as he claims, the battery was working ...WHAT FREE WORK!

To whom it may concernStatement of FactsCustomers car came in for requested parts to be replaced. We changed the Alternator, blower motor, spark plugs and engine torque struts. While servicing the car we noticed other repairs the car needed. We contacted customer to inform him that the coil pack was...

cracked and the coil pack had major corrosion on the terminals. While working on the car we noticed other issues that would keep the car from running proper. Two spark plugs where soaked with oil which basically means the valve cover gaskets and spark tube seals need to be replaced. Customer also stated that he lost the brake fluid cap, we couldn't find it so we ordered him a new one and installed for free. This car has many other issues that where noted yet refused to fix at this time. We noticed the strut mounts where loose so we tightened both down at no charge. After replacing the Alternator we checked the battery and it tested bad, most likely because the alternator was defective killing the battery. We called the customer who said he didn't have funds for a new battery, so we thought we'd give him a new one free of charge to help him out. This customer also stated that his car gets vandalized nightly by someone who has an extra set of car keys. This customer did report us to the bureau of automotive repair who verified we replaced the parts the customer requested replaced, case closed. Unfortunately this customer not only didn't appreciate the extra effort and repairs we did for free, he was unhappy with just about everything else with his car. We here at Rob's auto repair always go the extra mile to help our customers even when they are in the wrong.
