clarify to properly perform a leak search the system must be filled with a full charge of refrigerant. After the system is filled the system can be leak tested. Since so much time as past since the original service call visit in April of 2017 I am not sure of what was mentioned to the customer at the time of service and can only say that we apologize for the misunderstanding however an addition mistake was made on the service call visit on 4-27-17 which resulted in a lower service call visit cost of $ [redacted] on 4-28-17 instead of the $ [redacted] as listed on the complaint we refunded the customer $ [redacted] our check number #XXXXX
Another issue surrounding this service call was complicated by a real estate broker that had had a real estate listing for this home during the time of the service call. This real estate broker called in to our office concerning this problem with the AC unit during the time of the service call with convicting information on the age of the outdoor unit which he assumed the unit was recently replaced which was not the case.
I am willing to refund the full amount paid by this customer to date which is $ [redacted] with the hope that they are willing to drop the complaint I am responding to. I have attached the both refund checks and mailing the second check to the customer current address as listed on the complaint.
