I am rejecting this response because:For the forth time my question is this - If my credit card was rejected for some reason, why was I not notified so that I could still make the purchase I was requesting. Typically, online merchants have a response that would say "Sorry, our billing isn't working" or "Your card was declined, please contact us to finish the transaction". They also wouldn't send a confirmation of purchase email if the transaction hadn't gone through. Finding out a week after the purchase is unreasonable. The fact that I was still being offered the same type of seat by the merchant for three times the price is misleading. You still have the inventory, but you want more money now? The entire situation has left a bad taste in my mouth. Both times that I've contacted the company the only response I've gotten is, "we don't know why it happened".  That's not an acceptable response.

The customer attempted an online transaction on 5/11/17 but the card payment was declined. business practice any order that has a declined payment is canceled and the merchandise inventory is put back on sale. By the time we realized the error and when this customer contacted us, the seat locations they had attempted to purchase were sold out. This was explained during a phone call with a customer service agent on 5/17/17, we apologized for the error and suggested an authorized secondary market place for buying another ticket within the requested section. On 5/19/17 the customer contacted us through social media and we again explained the error and apologized for the issue. We offered to exchange the single ticket that was purchased in the sold out section for a pair of tickets together and waive all service charges; the customer did not respond. The offer is still available with any pair of seats that are currently available.
