Review: I have been a member on Datehookup.com since the end of April.My cell phone crashed & I lost my password to my user name & profile.I have tried numerous times to rest my password per the instructions.Datehookup.com has failed to resolve this issue they say they have sent me a link to my email address which the one I use for that site is [redacted].They have not done so.But they continue to send me emails instructing me on how to rest my password by simply entering my email address & or by my username which is [redacted].I honestly believe tthat this dating sight has used my personal information & pictures for their personal & profitable gain vecause I have recieved an abundant amount of sexually orriented emails from members of the same sex.I have never joined a dating sight for members of the same sex. I am a christian woman looking for a healthy relationship.I am certainly not interested in any type of profane correspondence.Datehookup.com claims to run a clean & reputable dating sight.I simply would like to be able to access my profile so that I can terminate my membership. Review: Company is sending 5 email spam messages per day claiming I have a registered profile with the site. I have never visited this site, registered as a user or solicited their services. The spam email goes to an account that myself and my wife both use.Desired Settlement: I wish my email account and any other personal identifiable information to be removed from their records and to never receive unsolicited advertising messages from them again.

Review: A user of this website created an account and mistakenly added my phone number to their account. I never created an account of my own, but began to receive multiple phone calls and text messages, some of which included pictures of male genitalia. In all, I received well over 100 test messages and over 30 phone calls. I contacted the website's customer service and was told they could not remove my phone number without me knowing the user id of the account with my phone number attached. I mentioned I did not know the user id because I did not set up the account. The customer service representative who contacted me did not apologize for the inconvenience and did not try to resolve the issue another way. To this day, I am still receiving text messages and phone calls because of this error.Desired Settlement: I would like my phone removed from this website.

Review: I am no longer a member of Datehookup.com. They use my pictures and old profile on their site. I do not want my pics associated with this site.

I have not been on Datehookup for years. I GOOGLED my tag name which is [redacted] on Google search and found out that Datehookup has my old profile and pics available to be searched on the web. I live a christian based lifestyle now and do not want to be associated with that type of website or have old pictures and an old profile available to be searched on the www. My old account was under [redacted] and the email associated with this account was [redacted]@att.net. The email is no longer active and I would like my tag name [redacted] and profile removed from their site and to become unavailable to search on Google or any other search engine when [redacted] is typed in.Desired Settlement: I want the account on Datehookup under member name [redacted] to be closed immediately if it is not. I do not want my pics or old profile from datehookup searchable on GOOGLE or any other search engine when [redacted] is typed in.

Review: I signed up with the online dating site, datehookup.com. I talked to a couple of guys and then abruptly I was denied access to my profile. I am 59 and never talked about anything inappropriate. They do allow anyone on there to report you as a scammer or for any other reason they want apparently. So it very well could be one of the men that could tell I wasn't really into them so they report me. I sent datehookup an email, not knowing why I was denied access and asking if someone had reported me for some bogus reason, and there has been no response for days. There are a lot of complaints online about this site just arbitrarily disabling a persons ability to sign in to their account.My concern is that my profile is still on there and I want access to delete it. There has been no response to my email request. Had I known how this site operates, I would have never put my profile and picture online with them.Desired Settlement: I want datehookup to contact me to allow me to delete my personal information.

One of the major problems with Date Hookup is that they want you to sign in to your account to get support. How exactly does one do that when you can't get on. So I had to search online for a way to contact them. The way I tried to contact them was [redacted]. I sent them two or three messages each getting more assertive each time that I wanted them to contact me so that I could erase my personal profile. I also contacted them by phone twice but never got a call back. I believe the number was ###-###-####. When I just went online to find the support number again, someone who was also complaining about the website listed the owners personal phone number as ###-###-#### but said that even calling him did no good. I wish I had investigated this web site prior to signing up but when I was looking online for the best free dating sites, datehookup was listed. I now know there are a lot of unhappy people like myself.

Even after I contacted you I kept trying to get on so I could get my profile off but had no success until, coincidentally (?), yesterday I was able to log on and I immediately erased my profile. I have only one email that I thought to save that I sent on June 30, 2014 which was the first one I sent when I could not get online. I am not real computer savvy and I just can't figure out how to attach it. At first I thought there was a computer glitch or someone had hacked into my profile because there is a security code that I was asked to type in but every code I tried did not work. I have been on another free date site for years ([redacted]) and have never had a problem. I am happy to have been able to delete my profile yesterday.
