Review: [redacted] contacted [redacted] on Datos Services to inquire about purchasing a list of international CIO & CTO’s in the retail business that work for companies with $25 million or more in sales.

We asked about specific country counts since we needed to fulfill quotas by country and wanted to make sure we received enough names with e-mail addresses that met our criteria.

We were provided with the following counts:

USA 51,210

UK 30,831

France 9,275

Germany 8,859

Canada 36,361

Italy 4,809

Total 141,345

Based upon these counts by country, we ordered the entire list.

What we actually received was:

USA 103,573

UK 20,230

France 8,020

Germany 6,853

Canada 15,160

Italy 1,757

Total 155,593

The actual list had less names/email address in the UK, France, Germany, Canada and Italy then quoted.

We understand that the counts can shift slight from day to day, but these counts are significantly different. Note that for the 2 largest markets after the US - Canada and the UK – they are off by 59% and 34% each. This is unacceptable.

Datos Service tried to justify this by saying they provide “extra” names/email addresses for the US market. We only needed 50,000 for the US market.

I have tried to resolve this direct with them but they refuse to answer the phone or respond to e-mailsDesired Settlement: We offered for Datos Services to replace the names with the same specs originally used but with a VP or director title instead of CIO & CTO.

If they can't do that, then refund us our money.

We also offered to return the 50,000+ US names/emails that were unused

The project is time sensitive so if we can't get the new names/e-mail addresses by Feb 25th, please just send the refund
