If the product contained in the case is sealed the product is still returnable. We will make exceptions on returns regarding quality of merchandise, damages or incorrect orders.  "All sales are final" is due to the potential for price fluctuation in the industry

The product in question is packaged like most in the industry and is dated for the time it was packaged.  Contents in all trading card products vary.  Hit Parade, Retro collection and Hall of fame versions will consistently contain players and versions of cards that are older.  Our...

long descriptions provide the information explaining its contents and what is provided by the product.We offer full refunds for all unopened products and in this case would like to offer a full refund of the purchase with the agreement that the contents be returned to us, at our expense.I was also alerted that the customer had ordered additional Hit Parade product and was asked when speaking to our customer service to refuse delivery and that will also be refunded.

In order to address this complaint correctly....is the product information unsatisfactory or the process of breaking? If the product is the concern we can offer  a full refund upon return of item that is as it was received. Factory sealed, unaltered, etc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Dave and Adam’s Card World states that this entire complaint is based on the word “sensational.”  It is true that had they used the term “average” or “damaged” in their advertising, my expectations would have been met. According to the description found on the Dave and Adam’s Card World website for the 2018 Hit Parade Sapphire Multi-Sport Hobby Box - Series 1, “Each box contains (1) SENSATIONAL card.”  The sales flyer also states that, “Every box features one sensational hit!” If Dave and Adam’s Card World is being truthful in the advertising of this product as “sensational” customers should not expect to find subpar contents including damaged cards.  That is exactly what I received in Box # 60 (subpar) and Box # 79 (damaged). The Dave and Adam’s Card World listing for this product gave a variety of examples of what Dave and Adam’s Card World considered to be sensational cards.  While there is a disclaimer on the flyer which states, “Cards pictured are depiction of the cards you may get.  Cards will vary per pack,” there is not a disclaimer which states that some cards are only sensational if you happen to collect the player featured on the card, nor is there a disclaimer stating that some cards may be damaged.  The expectation from the description and the flyer is that the cards are objectively sensational, especially with the examples of cards that are given.  (Attached are copies of the product description and sales flyer).  I reject the response from Dave and Adam’s Card World to my complaint as they made no attempt to resolve the matter.  In fact, their response was to call the complaint “frivolous.”  At $499.95 for a box containing one card, this matter is anything but frivolous. On the contrary, this is a very serious matter which borders on false advertising.  I find it very telling that Dave and Adam’s Card World mentioned only one card from my complaint and did not address the fact that one of the cards I received was damaged.  The acceptable resolution to this matter is to return the cards from Box # 60 and Box # 79 for a full refund.

In response to the complaint regarding our HP Sapphire product our Director responsible for that division....."the Hit Parade product does not guarantee any specific value as it relates to the cards inside the product.  This entire complaint is based on the word "sensational", and to a Connor...

McDavid collector, the card described by the customer may very well be considered "sensational".   The use of eBay as the sole determining factor for the value of a card is short sighted as well as it is an auction site and prices can be artificially inflated.  The customer also had previously purchased a Sapphire box (prior to this purchase) and he must have been very satisfied with what he received because he came back and purchased two more boxes.   The complaint is completely frivolous.   Our Hit Parade customers know that nothing is guaranteed.unless stated in the long description."

Please return the purchased items and a full refund will be made within 24 hours of confirmed receipt of the return.

In response to your complaint regarding invoice #[redacted].  The customer service delays are being addressed internally.  The order was adjusted and credited on 12/8/16 at 11am and settled the following day 12/9.  While the disputed amount is for $70 our adjustments from our sale price...

The merchandise was shipped via UPS on 1/31/17 and is showing delivered on 2/2/17.  Tracking information is attached. As long as the confirmed address is where the customer would like the shipping cost reimbursement sent, payment will be issued by the end of the week.

seller, it does happen occasionally that the terms of a sale cannot be completed.  Many things can come into play.  Items being sold to us are not as they were described, quantities are different, manner in how they were shipped caused damage, etc.   Any one of these occurances make the transaction unable to be completed.  In these cases we do our best to communicate the situation and have it resolved in a timely manner.We also make reference to a disclaimer included in all emails and on our website explaining that we do reserve the right to return any items sent to us.I have attached a copy of the correspondence, highlighting the dialogue between both partiesRegarding the payment for the shipping costs of $21 , simply confirm the mailing address you would like it sent to and it will be processed before the end of the week.

The Sales Manager spoke to card holder and agreed to a $100 refund.  The credit card was credited $100 on 5/31/16.
