I hired Dave Beck to remodel my kitchen & I have been very satisfied with his worktheir attention to detail was incredible and the work was done in a timely fashionI have recommended his services to anyone I know looking for remodeling

business stated that they have been back to the property and have repaired the issueSending to the consumer for resolution

The business has resolved all issues and have also given a refund. Close the complaint as resolved

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. In response to dave B***’s letter, I’m writing to inform the updates about this project. First of all, while we were signing the contract, I asked Dave whether he was familiar with the construction in our township or notHe told me that he did a lot of works in our town and very familiar with the codes etcNow, he is telling that the town code officer asked him to do more work as additional flushingHe should know his responsibilities while agreed to build a d*** instead of blaming the code officer and as a result, asking for more moneyAlso, the copy of the contract which you have received, it is not the original onePlease find the original attached with it where it was written that “ all the inspection will be done by the contractor “Dave wanted to get more money without completing the construction and final inspection by the town code officer which we agreed upon. After Dave left without finishing the job, I called him several times to come and finish the jobAlso, sent text messages, sent a certified letter on August 18, He never responded to those.When I got the blueprint from the architect for the approval, I gave a ch*** of $to Dave as the architect feesHe never paid the architect till the summer of while the architect was complaining that he didn’t get the paymentIt seems to me that he doesn’t have any professional responsibilities to deal with othersRegarding the design of the d***, Dave messed up with the construction of the stairsHe didn’t follow the architectural design approved by the townshipWhile we contacted the town code enforcement officer Mike, he told us that Dave never listened to him as he warned Dave about the wrong construction and never informed us about this issue As a result of that, we have to demolish the whole stairs and rebuild it againAs Dave is my contractor, he should carry the whole responsibilities associated with the expensesAlso, he mentioned that we could get a “sign off” letter from the architectWe have contacted our architect MrDJ*** who refused to do that as it would put the lives of others in danger as Dave didn’t construct according to his designNow, we need to redesign the d*** again and eventually it will cost us more which is due to Dave irresponsible act during construction In his letter, Dave mentioned that I told him “No problems”, which is a lieDave rarely was at the site of the construction and always showed up to take his paymentIt was very difficult to get in touch with him to go over the projectHe was always in other job sites instead of supervising his men at my placeSuddenly one day he came to me with a new contract without discussing with me and asked me to signI was tired of running after him for the work, paid a fair amount $7,of $8,labor cost and not having my work done properlyI was not aware of his new contract at all and refused to signAlso, I mentioned that he should finish his construction, get the final inspection from the township ( as per the contract ) to get the final paymentAs he knew that his d*** would not pass the final inspection, he tried to avoid to face the code officerHe also pushed me to make the final payment without finishing the jobThe “contract change” was a contract made by his imagination with which I don’t agreeIf there is a new contract, it should be made with mutual agreementIn terms of “different brand/style of railing, materials etc.” that Dave mentioned in his letter - we never discussed about thoseIt was not an issue while we signed the contractNow, he is making these up. Anyway, at this point Dave should come and finish this job and get his final remaining due according to our contract

Dave Beck's remodeling has done work for us in the past, a finished basement and a pool deckThey are timely and professionalI have recommended them to friends, and am calling for some new work to be done in the house
