I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12727827, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[The check engine light came on within days of purchasing the vehicleThe code said it was catalytic converter but I was told repeatedly by Harrington Moror World that it was a readingThey reset the light several times within the first week of having the vehicleI was then told they would fix the issue which drug out several weeks while the supposed parts came inThen, several more weeks passed as I was told they changed the wrong partI have now been told by the other mechanic that NOTHING I was told was changed, was actually changedThis is why I am complainingYou should not be able to do this to a person and still stay in business.

Attached are copies of the original documents signed by the customer showing that the vehicle had a 3rd party warranty through CARS and that all repairs beyond his warranty were to be fixed at his expenseEven though the paperwork that he signed stated this information, we still repaired his vehicle at our expense months laterIt has now been year and months since he purchased the vehicle and as with any vehicle maintenance and repairs are neededWe cannot repair a vehicle at our expense year and months after the customer took possession of it

vehicle inThe issues were not covered under the CARS warranty, however we agreed to fix the issue since the customer had just purchased this vehicleWe did $2,in repairs at no expense to the customerThe customer then took possession of the vehicle and was satisfiedMarch 2018, almost a year and a half later the customer called and said hes having issues with the vehicleHis shop stated he needs a new catalytic converter and sensors which are both maintenance issues with the vehicleThese parts are not covered under the expired CARS warranty and can happen to any vehicle at any time
