I am rejecting this response because: their "solution" was not acceptable. I will gladly pay 20% of the remaining bill to resolve this issue, otherwise, I have requested that the Texas Department of Insurance mediate...

this issue further. I believe it would be within everyone's favor to accept the 20% remaining bill; for me, I am willing and able to afford to pay SOME of the bill I should never have received in the first place in exchange for removing this hassle from my life. For the business, they would receive a portion of the payment immediately and at a higher rate than if this debt was sold off to collections, plus they would not have to spend paid hours continuing to work via the Texas Department of Insurance mediation and further customer service.
