When I met him, the one time he came to look at the job, he appeared so clean cut, friendly and knowledgeable, and continued timely communication for a while thereafter, until he picked up the $500 deposit. Then he repeatedly made excuses as to why he could not make it here. I then ran into an urgent need to have him perform the small job of pouring a 3'x3'x6" footing. I called him about this on a Wednesday or Thursday, and HE was the one who offered to come by on Saturday, not me.
