Mr. [redacted] has benefit coverage under the Health Net Ruby Select plan, which is a Medicare Advantage plan. Therefore, we follow the Medicare A&G guidelines for processing a member complaint. Medicare allows 30 days for the health plan to resolve a member complaint. This complaint was...

received by Health Net on 9/25/15 so a response must be sent to the member no later then 10/25/15.

This member complaint has been submitted into our formal grievance process. We will respond directly to the member within 30 days.

My Complaint was...

about the company not forwarding the proper documents to my wife. Also changing the website because no one but the person applying should fill it out, and it should be offered in multiple languages to accommodate the individual. Hippa is just an excuse...if not then no one should be able to fill out an application online or sent documents. If they can enter Spanish on there automated messages; then they can implement other languages as well. Since I submitted the app without the hippa obstruction; there shouldn't be any other issues. In fact to date my wife still has not received her ID card. Or the other requested documents ie.  hippa form that I will be filling out for my wife so that I will have permission to address her issues through this company.

The member's complaint has been submitted into our formal grievance process. We will send the member an acknowledgement letter within 5 business days and will research and resolve within 30 days.

We would like to thank [redacted] for submitting his concerns for review.He indicates this complaint is concerning his wife's policy but I do not show her name in the documentation.In order for us to research further we need to have her name and date of birth.Thank You.

I am confused as to why they felt that a Revdex.com complaint was necessary, since I gave her the requested refund. I did that simply to make the customer happy with the result, not because I thought it was actually justified. We helped her get another expensive part covered through their home warranty...

Please accept my apology for the delay in responding to Mr. Horne's rebuttal.I attempted to call the number listed [redacted] but received a message that the number was invalid.In order to provide a response to this complaint we need to identify the member so that we can access her Health Net records.We have 2 ways to identify a member by full name and date of birth or by their Health Net member ID#.Once we have that information we will be able to create a formal grievance case and provide a written response to the member.Thank you
