Review: I taken my car to the business mention to get the roof repaired which encluded sanding and painting and clear coat done. he told me it would be 300 dollars which I said fine. then I ask him if he coukld look at the driver side window. because when we put it up we heard a clank . Moter for window works so we thought window camme off track. he said he look at it 'i said ok call me and let me know how much it would cost so I could decide to have him fix it. he never called me and he went ahead and fixed it without my permission. I called him on july 10th to see if car was done and the secretary told me it will be at 10.am so I ask for the total and she quoted 400 and some dollars. that's when he got on the phone and told me he fixed the window. and I spoke to one of his employees and all he said it slipped of track and dave the owner would probably not charge me. but my main concern is that he should have called me before he fixed it so I feel I shouldn,t pay for something I had no idea what was wrong.Desired Settlement: I don't want to pay for a repair that I did not authorized to be done. I only agreed to the roof job and not the window.

July 21, 2014Dear Better Customer Bureau,The customer dropped the car off July 7, while they were here they asked if we could take a look at the left front door window and stated that he had saved up 100.00 on top of the 300.00 quoted to repair the roof. I told him the car would be done late day July 9 and that I would check out the window problem and get with him if it went over 100.00, but assured him it wouldn’t.When he called July 9 he argued with my secretary about the price; I got on the phone and tried to explain, when I found that I was getting nowhere I replied ok whatever. As soon as I got off the phone I changed the bill back to the original cost of300.00 plus tax 318.00 .The customer called July 10 and said he couldn’t pick the car up until July 11, reminder that that’s two more days in my free loaner.When he picked the car up he only had 300.00 and said he would bring the tax money in the next week (never saw him). That is why my reply is a few days late, I just wanted to see if my customer was as good as his word since I’m supposedly not. This is what happened, my customer got his roof repaired for the price I quoted, his door glass repaired for free, kept my loaner car for an extra two days (free again), and got his car detailed at no charge (free again).He never stopped to pay the 18.00 tax, I realize the customer is always right but give me a break; maybe he is too embarrassed to come back. In your paperwork to me you expressed that you didn’t have much information on our business, this is because we have been here for 35 plus years and we take pride in our work and customer satisfaction. Maybe there should be a BCB; better customer bureau!
