Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Thirty days ago I requested a signed contract, what was delivered was a blank contract. I doubt a blank contact is enforceable and would withstand legal action

Enclosed in the attachment is a contract that I useAll of my contracts are currently with my accountant and not accessibleYou will see that it clearly states that contractor is not responsible for crackingAlso I would like to know from the Revdex.com if there are any other concrete contractors that are members who would say that they are responsible for crackingIt is the nature of the materialMr*** was informed of thatAlso note that this is a seasonal business, Mr*** complaint with Revdex.com was brought to your attention in the winterDave W*** Concrete is closed during the winter months, and nothing would of been addressed until the season began

To Whom it may concern,In response to Mr*** complaint with the Revdex.com regarding a service that Dave W*** Concrete was hired and completed on May 19th We advise Mr*** to re-read his contract that he signedIt clearly states in "bullet #7": CONTRACTOR NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FLAKING,
POP-OUTS OR CRACKSAFTER WORKMEN HAVE LEFT JOB SITE CONTRACTOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO CONCRETE BY, WALKING ON CONCRETE, ANIMALS, VANDALISM OR WEATHER.Mr*** was also made aware that all concrete will crack, it is the nature of the productAnd cracks caused by weather will not deter the performance or serviceability of the new concreteConcrete cracking is caused by the freeze/thaw of the ground it has nothing to do with the age of the concreteThe harsh temperatures this winter so far, cracking may occur. Also , in response of the many attempts to contacting Dave W*** Concrete, MrW***'s business is a seasonal company and closed during the winter monthsDave W*** Concrete was not aware of Mr*** complaint until just recently.I would like to mention that I noticed that Mr*** neglected to mention his derogatory comment that he texted to me, which I still have stored on my phoneConveniently thou he mentions that he bought the crew a pizza for lunchI would like to be clear this was his ideaIt was not expected, nor was it necessary since I buy lunch for my crew every day.I do not feel I should not have to be dealing with this issue since Mr*** signed the contract that clearly states, issues regarding cracking is not contractors responsibilityThere is not a concrete contractor that is responsible for crackingIf there was he would not be in business long, not for being responsible and still a respectable manI would have gladly talked to Mr*** if it wasn't for the text message he has sent

In reference to Dave ***'s response, I have attached multiple photos of the concrete splatter on the house, garage and deckIn addition, I have also included photos of the drivewayI believe there is a misunderstanding between curing discoloration and stainsMy concern is the visible large water stains that can be seen in the photos *hen a protective tarp *as removed, spilling rain water onto the still curing concreteDave *** Concrete also failed to mention the thickness of the concrete in various spots, which is inches less than the original 4, which was stated on the contractAs far as sealing the concrete, Dave *** said he would be back the following day after his original visit and never returned

I can't seem to find the contract I signed, if Mr. W[redacted] would please provide the contract and text he is referring to.  In addition, I never asked for anything free, just told him there was a crack.  It is well known, if you're happy, you tell one person, if you're not happy you tell 10 or more.

We were planning a major remodel and wanted to start with the driveway. I asked friends and neighbors for referrals. The driveway was original to the home; 65 year old, layers of blacktop and concrete and a mess.

A family member recommended ‘Dave Webb Concrete’ so I figured I’d start there. First off he has a website with pictures of his work! I was amazed how many contractors are behind the curve and don’t even have a website. Next I checked the Revdex.com. He has a Revdex.com rating of A+ and is ‘Accredited’, with 0 complaints! OK, I’ll give this outfit a shot.

The owner Dave Webb showed up. He listened, took measurements, answered my questions, explained the procedure from beginning to end; digging out the existing driveway and walks, hauling everything away, hauling in and leveling the base and then the concrete pour and finish work AND he said he would be in and out in 3 DAYS!

Dave gave us a price, the date he could start, and addresses of 3 driveways he had done that were similar to what we wanted.

We viewed the 3 driveways he gave us, in fact as we were looking at the third one the homeowner pulled in and we had a nice chat about Dave Webb, and decided then and there to have him do the work.

Final result: 3 days in and out. A crew that was hardworking, courteous and conscientious of our property, the neighbors and us. Even the concrete truck drivers from American Concrete swept and hosed down the street after they delivered their loads of concrete. The final result is a beautiful driveway that was way less expensive than we expected and well worth the investment.

I’d recommend Dave Webb Concrete to anyone.

Regarding the concrete job that was preformed at [redacted] for David [redacted] on June 20, 2017 *as completed to customers satisfaction.Mr . [redacted]as present for the entire pour and paid in full when the job *as completed on June 20th 2017. He also complimented on how the...

It also states in his contract that Mr. [redacted] signed about discoloration and clearly explains the curing process for concrete.Again Mr. [redacted] called with concern of discoloration and a new complaint of concrete splatter on his house, garage and deck. At that time he was reminded again of the curing process and arrangements were made to clean concrete splatter.  Mr. [redacted]as present for the cleaning and was very satisfied with clean up of  his house, garage, and deck. *hen crew had returned another day to seal the concrete, the concrete *as covered in grass clippings *hich prevented cre* to seal the concrete. All of Mr. [redacted] questions, concerns, and complaints *ere handled in a professional manner. Any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact Dave [redacted] Concrete.Regards, Dave [redacted] Concrete

The splatter marks were present the day that Dave [redacted] Concrete came back. That is one of the reasons I called them. It is true that I was satisfied the day of the pour, but the problems didn't appear until the next day. As far as the power *ashing *as concerned, the house, deck and garage did look better when Dave [redacted] Concrete left but when the house, deck and garage dried there was no difference. And as of today Nov. 6th, Dave [redacted] Concrete has not sealed the job.
