on our parts The $capacitor that
you mentioned you found online would NOT have come installed or with the
warranty that we offer I would have to
disagree that you paid $for a capacitor
When we were there on July 27th,
we installed a capacitor and contactorThe total price for both of these
parts plus labor is around $525.00. At
that time, the technician told you that you needed a control board and gave you
an estimate for $125.00. Although you
were unsatisfied with our pricing, you had us come out again on July 29th,
to install a control board and a new thermostat. Total cost of $for all four parts plus
labor You stated in your complaint that our technician told you
about the warranty on parts and serviceYou chose not to call us when your
furnace wasn’t working As our service
manager told you yesterday, we cannot reimburse you for the money you spent
using another company instead of our warranty

We have already been in contact with Ms*** and are working on a solution with her regarding this matter We are currently waiting on her to contact us

Dave's Appliance Repair made the statement they do not compete with online pricing I did not suggest the compete with online prices, I stated their markup on parts is extremely high I understand businesses mark up prices and times the price is more of a standard practice, but times the price is unreasonable.In Dave's reply to my complaint, they failed to address the issue of the circuit board not being wired properly I am sure they will tell me since they were not able to inspect the circuit board themselves they cannot prove there was a problem and it is out of their handsThe bottom line is, Dave's service technician did not complete the job properly and did not test both the A/C and furnace to insure they were working properly before he left my house I went to Dave's place of business to request a copy of my receipt so I could see the itemized bill for service After a heated conversation, I was told I could not get a copy of the bill The bottom line isI will do my homework and find a local business that will do the job right at a fair price
