The trip to the airport was without incident but from the airport to home was a bad experienceThe driver they sent looked like he was on his "last legs"His appearance was matched by the condition of the vanThe driver's seat was duct-taped together and with every bump I thought the van would fall apart it was in such poor repairThe entire windshield had a huge crack in it tooThe driver was unable to lift our suitcase into the van and had difficulty getting another passenger's luggage up the steps to his house because of his poor physical conditionThe worst issue was not his appearance but his driving abilityThere were cars that beeped him while he was trying to merge onto the main road and I truly thought we were going to be hitI couldn't believe that this happened but I know it did since my husband was with meThe driver was driving down the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic until he realized he was in the wrong laneAfter letting another passenger off, he never bothered to put his seat belt back on which he is legally obligated to doI was thankful to get home after this bad experience

October 16, 2016Dear *** ***:This letter is in response to a customer complaint regarding service provided by our company on September 17, to the Manhattan Piers in New YorkWe at Dave’s Best Limousine take these matters very seriously and apologize for *** ***’s dissatisfaction with
our service.When a customer calls to make a reservation with our company, the credit card they provide for payment is charged in fullIt is not a reservation until it is paidThis is standard practice in the transportation industry just as you cannot book a flight without paying for it in fullWhat *** *** failed to realize is that we provide a shuttle service which means the customer cannot specify what time they want to be picked up, rather we fit the customer into our shuttle schedule based on their departure timeThe same applies to *** or any other shuttle service, the customer cannot dictate the pitimeWe do offer private charter service which offers the customer the convenience of chartering the entire van for themselvesCharters do not make any other stops and allows the customer to decide what time they would like to be picked upThis private service costs $plus 15% gratuity each way as opposed to the $the customer paid for shuttle service.With that being said, *** *** received a full refund to her credit card in the amount of $on September 30,for services not provided to her satisfaction.We want each person we do business with to walk away feeling happy, and that apparently did not happen in this caseAnd for that we are sorry.Sincerely,Ayellet Y.Office Manager

I am rejecting this response because:
As I state in my counter-letter/response to their offer, we would rather walk across hot coals and stick needles in our eyes than ever even entertain the thought of using that place. A gift certificate to their "service"? Really? My life as well as the lives of my two sisters and my year old mother were truly jeopardized on the night of December 11, 2013. My response is attached and clarifies all of the outright lies based on ***'s assumptions. A hard copy is also on the way via U.SPostal Service

April 2, Dear ***:This letter is in response to a customer complaint regarding service provided by our company on December 11, We at Dave’s Limousine take these matters very seriously and apologize for the less than satisfactory experience that eveningHowever, the
comments made by *** are very cruel and unfairFirstly, our drivers are highly trained and extremely courteousSometimes they might not follow the route a passenger is more familiar with due to GPS navigation differencesBut our drivers always know where they are goingSecondly, there is NO drop off policy for limos at the *** *** CenterAny vehicle entering the stadium parking lot is required to pay the designated parking feeThere are no exceptionsSince these fees vary in price from event to event, we advise the customer at the time of the price quote that parking is NOT included in the cost of the charter*** driving past every entrance to the stadium was his attempt to find the closest location to drop off the customer so that they did not have to walk farThirdly, it is quite hard to anticipate in advance that someone will get sick and need to pull over to throw upBut we do apologize as this must have been a rather unpleasant instanceAs for *** thinking that the driver was planning to rob and murder them is simply ridiculousWe are quite sure that if she had a bad feeling about him, she would have had the sense to call the police or contact our office at the very least prior to him coming back to pick them up for their return trip home! *** is a very gentle and well-mannered person who would not hurt a soul.But with all of that being said, Dave’s Best Limousine would like to apologize for any distress this experience caused *** and her partyWe want each person we do business with to walk away feeling satisfied, and that apparently did not happen in this caseAnd for this we are sorryAs compensation for this inconvenience, please accept this $gift certificate towards a future service with our companyWe would like the opportunity to make it up to you.Sincerely,

We were scheduled for pick up with Dave’s Best Limo to PHL on August at 4:AM to fly to SeattleThe ride was confirmed on 08/04/We made phone calls to Dave’s Best Limo at 4:02AM, 4:AM and 4:30AMAfter waiting for minon the street, the operator said: “The driver is not able to pick you up”Nothing else was offeredThis is an INEXCUSABLE SITUATIONWe could miss our flight to Seattle and then the ship to Alaska connected to this flightWe are both senior citizensMy husband is years old has the poor eyesight, he tried to call taxi, but we were short in timeWe had no choice and my husband had to driveHe was driving very slow on We barely could make it to PHL, the registration was almost overOn 08/15/we called to Dave’s Best Limo to complain, but the supervisors did not wanted to take the phones, so we left the message and the phone number with the dispatcher to contact usNobody called us
