On March 14, we wrote a check to Dave’s Heating and Air, [redacted] *** The check number was for $This was for an annual service contract, which includes two cleanings of the furnace and air conditioning units annually Prior to May 7th, our air conditioner was running perfectly On May 7th, the technician came to our residence and performed service Shortly after his visit and during the evening the air conditioner was not cooling the house The next day we contacted the office and asked that someone come out and fix the problem We were told that the system was working fine when the technician left They said they would call back with an appointment and never called When I contacted the business later that afternoon the woman whom I spoke to said they could come out on Wednesday the 9th I told her it was my husband’s birthday and we had plans I asked what time in case we could change our plans She said we would have to wait
On 6/24/I signed invoice #*** and Paid by Credit Card $71, On 7/20/I received in the mail under the same invoice # a bill for $with a balance showing of $ I immediately sent him a letter disputing the invoice and requesting a revised invoice reflecting the proper invoice amount paid in full I called the company August 2, August 4, and today August leaving messages because no one is available to talk to me
There is more to the story Our Lennox Evaporator Coil that the company installed in went bad and the Warranty only covered parts not labor His price was about 15% higher than another quote I obtained So he decided to charge me for coolant that his company installed just for a short term fix I would not have agreed to that if I new it would cost an additional $
yes I had a new a/c put in in 8/I have had nothing but trouble out of it since,about months after it was put in it caught fight due to the way the ran the wire though the a/c case,ran with no protective casing and ac caught fire in my home lucky I was home and put out.I called they came out and charged me and came n unhooked the wire left in ac well a few months latter winter hit the wire that caught fire and they didn't fix he disconnected went to heater,I called they charged me to come fix another problem they caused,and now 8/13/I called and was tring to tell them the unit flooded my floor and ruined it they need to come fix.well the lady I was talking to went to yelling at me so I told her I will just hire a lawyer and hung up im not going to get screamed atthe way they put unit in is awful hose's running on outside of unit pipes on outside of unit cant even cover.so I will give you a chance to have them make this right with cost of damages before I have my lawyer fil
