Response: [redacted] parked her vehicle in a lot where we hold the Impounding contractHer vehicle was left pulled into a parking spaceWe got a call to remove it from the lotWhen our driver arrived they unlocked the passenger door and placed the vehicle in neutralThen pushed it out by hand so as not to damage the transmissionThe vehicle was then loaded onto a wheel lift where the drive wheels do not touch the ground, and was taken to our Secure Impound lotWhen [redacted] came to pick up her vehicle, her mother came with her with the Impound money but remained in her vehiclePossibly due to being embarrassed after the day long cussing she gave our Dispatcher and OwnerThe vehicle was in our lot backed inAll [redacted] needed to do was put it in drive and pull awayInstead she put it in reverse with a vehicle directly behind her then started yelling, You've torn up my carMy guys spent quite some time trying to work with the vehicle to get it to go backwardsBut it wouldn'tThey even checked that her linkage was hooked up and it wasI'm going to summarize what happened [redacted] somehow tore out her reverse, then pulled the vehicle into a parking space and left it overnightShe knew it wouldn't back up, so she left itAs for My son, telling her pushing it broke her reverseOne he wasn't thereTwo he is not that ignorantHe would never have said something so ignorantIF and I'm saying if pushing the car out by hand would have hurt the transmission then it would have torn the entire transmission outNot just reverseAnd my guys aren't that strongPushing the car by hand was a courtesy to prevent damagePlease ask [redacted] WHY she tried to go in reverse with vehicles directly behind hers when she was clear to simply go forwardI get it, do you?? On April 5, 2015, Mr *** called our business for a wrecker runOur driver picked up his car on Fern Valley Rdin Louisville, Kyand towed it to Mr*** home on *** DriveWhen our driver arrived at Mr*** home he knocked on the door to collect for the towMr*** came outside and told our driver that his credit card was inside of his carHe didn't have the car keys so out driver had to do an unlockMr*** rummaged through the car and came up with a credit cardOur driver called the credit card number into our dispatchShe ran the card and it came back declinedThen Mr*** handed our driver a *** *** credit cardOur driver told Mr*** we couldn't take a *** *** credit card, and asked Mr*** to let him drive Mr*** to an ATMMr*** refused to goHe searched again for a check book but couldn't find oneThis has had our driver tied up for minutes trying to collect the $for the towThe driver explained that he wasn't going to drop the vehicle without being paidMr*** then tried to give our driver a computer for the towThe driver refused and said that he would have to Impound the vehicle if Mr*** couldn't payMr*** couldn't pay so the vehicle was ImpoundedThe car was in our lot for days, Mr*** was charged $for the original tow, $for the first days of Impound, and days at $per day for a total of $Mr*** seems to be confused about what took placeWe are sorry he is confused, but knowing the circumstances that took place, I don't know what to sayI am positive that there are no Towing Services who make tows in exchange for computersIt was an unfortunate situationWe handled it like the Pro's we areThank You, *** ***

Ms***'s vehicle was ImpoundedAppointments were made on both Saturday and Sunday to release her vehicleShe apparently doesn't like being held to appointmentsYes our office is closed on weekends, that's the reason we make appointments to release vehicles on weekendsOur Driver staff on weekends is half of what would be through the week so our drivers are busy on weekendsWe made the appointments to release vehicles, called everyone and set the appointment time on both Saturday AND SundayMs*** skipped both days then wants to complain because she couldn't come at her leisure to pick up her vehicleWe strive hard to please our customers however an Impounded customer is usually not pleased no matter whatSo it isThe Impound fee is the same for the first three days so Ms*** was charged the same on Monday as she would have been had she made her either of her appointments on Saturday or SundayWe are open 24-to tow or Impound but the office remains closed on weekendsThus Appointments are made to release vehicles in order to give those wanting their vehicle before Monday a chanceWhile the Driver is releasing Vehicles he is not able to take runsWe need our drivers free to runMs*** doesn't like the way we run our business but hey, it's America we are free to run our business as we choseThank You, *** ***

This company is not running their business in an appropriate wayThey did not set an appointment with me, they told me they were only open for a hour each day and the hour would shift depending on when they wanted to be thereThe other people that I met the day I got my car out of impound had similar complaintsWhen I originally called I wanted to set an appointment for a time that I was actually available but was told that I had to come at whatever hour they decided to be open that dayIt is completely unacceptable to advertise that you are open hours and then only perform certain services during that time, especially when the result of that kind of greed is that people do not have access to there vehicles for extended periods of timeThis business is not being run properly and is doing a disservice to the community and its customers

Ms*** stated that she received our Certified letter on her way to her Grandmother's funeralAlthough we are of course very sorry she lost her Grandmother, we do not get what this has to do with anythingHad Ms*** followed through on transferring her "Sold" vehicle out of her name instead of letting the "New Owners" leave with only a notorized bill of sale she would have NEVER received the letterMs*** apparently doesn't understand that when a vehicle is sold, it MUST be transferred into the new owners nameOtherwise that vehicle is still hersIf it wrecks into someone and kills them, it's still her vehicle, or if it gets ImpoundedIt's still registered to herWhen we Impounded this vehicle, we called it in to Metro just as we do every vehicle, the VinNumber came back registered to Ms***So we sent out a Certified letter same as alwaysTo the registered owner, Ms***Ms*** did not want to hear this when she called our DispatchShe wanted us to wave our magic wand and magically get the name and address of the "Nogood Individual" (her words), whom she had "Sold" this vehicle to who had failed to transfer it into their nameOur Dispatcher did her very best to be helpful when she talked with Ms***But since she wasn't saying what Ms*** wanted to hear, Ms*** continued telling her that she had sold the vehicleOur Dispatcher answers lines, these lines were going Beep Beep Beep Beep, all the while Ms*** refused to hear the truthOur Dispatcher finally hit the end, and hung up on Ms***If she wants to believe it or not, in the eyes of the Law, this Vehicle belongs to herThe VinNumber is still registered to Ms*** at her address listedAnd no matter how many times she insisted that it didn't, the Law speaks for itselfAlso, since Ms*** insists on calling our Dispatcher rude, just how rude was she ?????? She would not listen, she would not stop speaking, she would not believe the truthAll great reasons for a disconnect rather that a full blown argument since the conversation was about 5-minutes long, all the while Ms*** refusing to listen to the truth, and insisting we do something because she said she had sold the vehicleI suggest that if ever Ms*** sells another Vehicle she follow the LAW, and follow through with a complete transfer at the court houseSame as we all must doThank You, *** ***
