Classic asks for 10% down and the rest on completion I gave them the 10% September 11, 2014, and they did not start the deck until NovemberThey promised to make the interior trim for the patio door similar to other interior trim, but they just put up some flat boards and didn’t even miter the cornersThe exterior trim around the floor of the deck was rippled The upper and lower bolts holding one of the patio doors in position would not operate properly The deadbolt lock in the other door was inoperable The space under the deck was inaccessible The deck is feet off of the ground, and they had said I would be able to easily access that space for utility maintenance and storageThey finished the basic deck November 2014, but it was July before they had corrected most of the problems I say ‘most’ because apparently they have no intention of creating easy access to the space under the deck Their idea of making it accessible was for me to bend and remove side panels and put them back Repeated use like this would warp them and even possibly crack them in cold weather And even if you use this type of access, there is a framing cross piece that forces you to crawl in on all foursDuring the time between November and July the company pressured me for payment even though their stated policy is 10% down and the rest on completion I finally gave in and paid them a few thousand in March 2015, but I was afraid to pay them more for fear that I would never see them againClassic’s price was higher than anyone else’s, but I went with them because they were an experienced business with (I thought) a good reputation I am very disappointed

I called the Revdex.com to inquire about Dave's Tree ServiceI wanted him to remove one of my treesI was told the Revdex.com opened a file on Dave's years agoI was also told that the nature of this file was unknown, whether it was neutral, good, or badThe owner, David *** and I then metHe gave me an estimate for the jobFrom what Mr*** said, the manner in which he said it, I thought he would do a good job for meI decided to hire himI found he really is an expert in his fieldAfter the work was complete, I was 100% satisfied

Terrible workmanship They hacked up and damaged my maple tree in my front yard The popular advice is -do not remove more than 1/or 20% of a tree's canopy in one year They hacked of 2/to 3/of the foliage on my tree, along with the healthy branches They did it, not because it was their professional decision; they did it because a condo owner in my homeowners association told him to Beautiful, green leaves do not grow on dead branches and they are trying to tell me the branches were dead It was flourishing this past past summer, as it did he summers prior I had panted all-shade flowers and shrubs in that garden under the tree and now that Dave's Tree Service chopped the majority of branches/foliage off the tree there will be no more shade in the summer So I've had to rip out all the shade landscaping I spent money planting in that garden, which had nothing planted in it when when I moved in except a lavender bush and a rose bush Rose bushes do not thrive in shade gardens, therefore I do not count that In fact, that was ripped out the summer I moved in because it was moldy from all the shade I've spent well over planting shade plants here and now it is no more When I tried to talk to the they said they did not have to answer any of my questions because the association lady was there and if I cared so much I would have been there too Well, I care for my elderly father so I cannot stay home every day or even most days I have to tend to my father, drive my daughter to school, my husband to work and I also have errands I have to run Had I known I could not trust this person to stop the company from decimating my tree and garden, had I known they would do a terrible, unprofessional job I would've have stayed home and babysat them as well Some of us have lives and cannot babysit professionals who should already know how to do a good, aesthetically pleasing job Also, on ***, I had sent Dave a before and after photograph and he responded by sending me a LAUGHING emoji and said the association lady told him to do it, so he did Professionals don't destroy and hack up trees, making them ugly to look at just because they were told to by someone who is NOT a professional in the field Our Privacy, beauty, wildlife and naturist enjoyment is now gone, never to return thanks to this company and their ugly business practices Stay as far away from them as possible
