Davenport Landscaping has been providing landscaping services to our HOA for over a year Since that time the quality of service has declined and the properties appearance has also deteriorated I spoke to the area manager in person today *** in Charlotte) regarding some of the items I had concern with and his answer to each of the issues as "I don't know" I work at home so I get to see what Davenport crews do each week Some of the issues are: when they mow they direct the grass clipping into the flower beds of the house rather than away from the beds, blowing the leaves and grass clippings into the beds and on our porches rather than blowing them away from themYesterday, after I cleaned off my porch, the landscaping crew blew leave and debris back onto my porch I found an onsite supervisor and brought some of my concerns to his attention He mentioned he was from a different division and was here for a few days from Raleigh He voluntarily admitted the property is in poor condition and passed this along to the corp group in Raleigh I can list many small issue but they add up to poor service and a declining esthetics of the property Overall the workers are unsupervised, have no sense of pride in their work and just go through the motions I called the owner (***) twice and still have not received a call back

Davenport Landscaping has been providing landscaping services to our HOA for over a year. Since that time the quality of service has declined and the properties appearance has also deteriorated. I spoke to the area manager in person today [redacted] in Charlotte) regarding some of the items I had concern with and his answer to each of the issues as "I don't know". I work at home so I get to see what Davenport crews do each week. Some of the issues are: when they mow they direct the grass clipping into the flower beds of the house rather than away from the beds, blowing the leaves and grass clippings into the beds and on our porches rather than blowing them away from them. Yesterday, after I cleaned off my porch, the landscaping crew blew leave and debris back onto my porch. I found an onsite supervisor and brought some of my concerns to his attention. He mentioned he was from a different division and was here for a few days from Raleigh. He voluntarily admitted the property is in poor condition and passed this along to the corp group in Raleigh. I can list many small issue but they add up to poor service and a declining esthetics of the property. Overall the workers are unsupervised, have no sense of pride in their work and just go through the motions. I called the owner ([redacted]) twice and still have not received a call back.","neg-1

Guaranteed lawn care. After two treatments, have failed to get rid of the majority of weeds. Asking full refund of $92In our initial assessment, on 3/17/16, Davenport puts, in writing that their work is guaranteed. (Please see attached document/video.) Prior to singing up with Davenport, I asked again and again with both[redacted] who did the initial assessment and [redacted] who was our technician that they could treat our weeds. A few smaller businesses did not want to treat our lawn because our neighbors did not take care of their lawns and felt it would be an uphill battle. On every occasion, I was reassured they could do the job. As they told me, and is on the document, they guaranteed their work.On the assessment from March 17, 2016, Mr. [redacted] wrote:"We guarantee our work." "I stand behind our work"Twice he touted that a benefit of working with their company was that their technology targeted weeds specific to the Triangle. "Product engineered for Triangle area""Program 'scienced' by PhD's @ NC State." (Please see attachments/video.)The first treatment we had from Davenport was on 3.29.16. Second treatment was on 5.25.16. We paid both bills, in full, day of treatment. (Please see attachments/video.)When we returned from vacation on June 4th, I noticed we still had significant weeds (please see accompanying video) After two treatments, on Sat. June 11th, I emailed Davenport using their website. That same day, the owner [redacted] sent me an email saying someone would be contacting me on Monday, June 13th. At the end of the day I was contacted by someone saying that they would be out on Tuesday June 14th.On the 14th, technician [redacted] (who also did our first treatment) came out. We walked our front and back yards and I pointed out my concern of weeds. He said he would have to ask because there was a weed that he wasn't sure how to take care of that particular weed. I would describe it as a clover. (Please see accompanying video.) He also suggested that I get rid of all the yard clippings. (There had been significant rain while we were on vacation. I usually left yard clippings, as it was my understanding that helped facilitate grass growth.) Right after [redacted] left, I raked all of the clippings from our yard with the expectation he would be back within a day or two, after he was able to consult with his boss.On Thursday June 23rd, a salesman from another lawn care company came to offer services. They were shocked I had two treatments. The salesman suspected line was being used. He pointed out two weeds (nutsedge and poanna), which he said should have been gone definitely after two treatments. At this point, I had not heard back from davenport. The salesman did our neighbor who lives across from its lawn. They had no weeds, so I had no reason to doubt that he had at least some knowledge about weeds and how to treat them. (Please see accompanying video). On Wednesday, June 29th, I shot a video of our yard that shows it still has a significant amount of weeds after two treatments. I also have [redacted] our new lawn care salesperson from [redacted] who points out weeds and how they have not improved or shown that they are dying. I show the lawn across the street, with no weeds that [redacted] treats. He explains he stopped at our house because he didn't think we were having lawn treatments. Here is the following email correspondence. Please begin from the highlighted bottom and read up. As you can see below, I have asked to be refunded and have this resolved. The last correspondence I received from [redacted] indicated he would be at our home with the technician on Monday, June 27th. He never showed or emailed.Hi [redacted],I did not see you come by today. Will you be refunding my money?[redacted]Sent from my iPad
