Mel's Appliance overall service is horrible; I had them out to my home three times and they could not repair the refrigerator The service man was polite The owner of the company is very unprofessional He tells you that he can not come out to your home until five days from the day the refrigerator broke If I was not under Warranty from Warrantech who refers this company; I would not have used Mel's Appliance In addition Warrantech is the WORST warranty company; I have ever dealt with
This company has a contract with ***, you do not get a choice in company's to service your appliances if you purchase a warranty through them
Last year I had a problem with my dishwasher Mel's Appliances ordered the part needed to fix the problemMONTHS passed and I never heard back from them to come install itAs if my paperwork was lostI was very reluctant to ever want to deal with this company ever again!
Then our dryer needed servicing, once again I had no choice but to have Mel's come back out and do the repair workMy appointment time was set to be between 11-At 2:still no call/show2:came and the technician showed up
I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone needing appliance repair

they have been to my house 3 times now and still cannot find the problem with the refrigerator that will not stop leaking water. I had an appointment with them today between 12-3 and called them 3 times to see where their tech was, never got an answer. So I have had someone sitting around all day for someone to show and no one showed or called. This company is a waste of time, if you call in for warranty work and they tell you they are sending Mels ask for someone else.
