I was not informed of the copay amount to include the total amount before and after copay assistance paid their portionI was never informed a dollar amount at any time nor was I asked for approval to send the shipment to agree to pay the dollar amountThat is the issue to which the copay assistance program agreed with me. Please review the recorded calls and provide a copy of either the transcript or the call recording itself as it will prove I was never informed a dollar amount and that I was never asked if it was ok to send the shipment with the agreement to pay the amount

Accredo Health Group, Inc., a division of Express Scripts, is a specialty pharmacy that dispenses specialty medications and related services to patients with certain complex and chronic conditions.   Ms. [redacted] expressed concern regarding an invoice in the amount of $1,959.04 she received on a medication for her son mailed by Accredo Specialty pharmacy. Ms. [redacted] indicated when she was asked if the generic form of the medication was okay, she was not educated on the fmancial impact on that choice. Ms. [redacted] indicated that since the prescriber set up a coupon program she expected to pay zero; however, the copayment assistance and coupons are for the brand name version.   To resolve Ms. [redacted]s concern, a one-time courtesy credit was applied to the account for the medication in question. Ms. [redacted] has a zero balance and a statement was mailed to the address on file. I trust this letter has been responsive to your request for information regarding this complaint.
