Review: The KitchenAid Dishwasher purchased began to leak from the front shortly before the manufacturer's warranty ran out. After two attempts to repair it Dave's Appliances suggested we have the Manufacturer service the product which we did. The service man suggested the appliance be reinstalled because it was not level. Although the dishwasher was not leaking from the front it did leak underneath causing damage to the floor and ceiling below. When the service person from Dave's came to reinstall the dishwasher and investigate the leak it was not reinstalled and the problem was not resolved. The owner of the business subsequently visited our home and disputed our claims. Since his visit, we had the machine serviced by the manufacturer, which we had to pay for because the warranty has expired (we do have an extended warranty with Dave's at a cost of $159.00). The manufacturer's repair man when reinstalling the machine discovered that "the water connector to fill valve was cross threaded and leaking (even when the machine was not in use) causing the leaking floor damage. The cost of the services was 138.03.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed the cost of the service $138.03 and the cost to repair our floor and ceiling.
