Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It is not out of the ordinary for a customer to know how much a part costs that is being used and what make it isI have owned my car for over years and have Stacks of receipts from many many car mechanics that clearly state how much they specifically charge for a certain part and per hour Of labourI still have a copy of my receipt from Daves shop and all it says on it is $350- When I asked Dave how much the parts cost he verbally assulted me and said " [redacted] it's none of your [redacted] business how much The [redacted] part is and don't ever [redacted] call back..." Any other shop would usually not have a problem writing down the price paid for the parts on the receipt including hours worked and what they charged per hour of labour I have pictures, a copy of the original receipt, and video confirmation from my mechanic in Los Angeles proving in fact that my pump was never changed only the hoseWhen I asked to see the original part from the car that was taken out of my car they told me that they threw it away in the garbageI have had plenty of mechanics show me the old parts before my eyes right before I pay the billDaves auto care did not show me any of the old partsI also have the receipt for my replacement engine that I bought and had replaced this Year by my mechanic in Los Angeles My car is a my replacement engine is a it is used from a retired cop car so the new power steering pump should be a brand new unit!!! Uppon visual inspection of the part you can see it is the same original part from the Ford Motor that I purchased from my mechanic earlier this yearNot a brand new unit!! Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:It is not out of the ordinary for a customer to know how much a part costs that is being used and what make it is. I have owned my car for over 14 years and have Stacks of receipts from many many  car mechanics that clearly state how much they specifically charge for a certain part and per hour Of labour. I still have a copy of my receipt from Daves shop and all it says on it is $350- When I asked Dave how much the parts cost  he verbally assulted me and said "[redacted] it's none of your [redacted] business how much The [redacted] part is and don't ever  [redacted] call back..." . Any other shop would usually not have a problem writing down the price paid for the parts on the receipt including hours worked and what they charged per hour of labour.
I have pictures, a copy of the original receipt, and video confirmation from my mechanic in Los Angeles proving in fact that my pump was never changed only the hose. When I asked to see the original part from the car that was taken out of my car they told me that they threw it away in the garbage. I have had plenty of mechanics show me the old parts before my eyes right before I pay the bill. Daves auto care did not show me any of the old parts. I also have the receipt for my replacement engine that I bought and had replaced this Year by my mechanic in Los Angeles.  My car is a 1999 my replacement engine is a 2001 it is used from a retired cop car so the new power steering pump should be a brand new unit!!! Uppon visual inspection of the part you can see it is the same original part from the 2001 Ford Motor that I purchased from my mechanic earlier this year. Not a brand new unit!!
Sincerely,
