Review: I bought the car in February, and last week my rear strut started to make a noise. I took my car to my mechanic and they discovered that someone taped a rear sway bar, with black electrical tape, to the suspension! My mechanic told me that if that would have came loose their could have been some serious issues. I called Dave's Auto Sales and the mechanic said he didn't hear any noises coming from the back of the car, so he didn't really look at the back of the car. My mechanic spotted the sway bar right away, and couldn't believe that someone would do that. My wife was using the car to drive our kids! I was a mechanic in the Air Force on aircraft, and if we messed up our job their was a lot of paper work and possible jail time! I can't believe that their mechanic will not come clean on his mistake!Desired Settlement: I would like the repair to paid for, and that some one to make sure Dave's is doing proper work because I would hate to see any families get hurt from their lack care

Regarding the 1997 Camry sold to [redacted] on Feb. 21, 2014. I have reviewed the paperwork on this transaction and attached copies. It was noted that there was suspension issues with the car and that the car was being sold as-is. I can assure you that we would not tape together suspension parts. It may have been done by the previous owner. We would be willing to do the repairs at no cost to Mr. [redacted] but I still stress the fact that it was noted on the Wisconsin buyers guide that there was suspension issues and Mr. [redacted] signed the buyers guide knowing this. If there are more questions please do not hesitate to ask.
