Review: My wife and I had our [redacted] washed at the Hull Street Rd. location on Saturday, November 14th. During that time, the rear wiper was broken by the drying machine. The manager on duty, [redacted], was very apologetic and worked with us to complete a damage claim form. He explained that the owner, Jeff [redacted], would be contacting us about getting the wiper repaired. The owner never contacted us and, to this day, still hasn't contacted us. I have e-mailed him multiple times, I have submitted contact forms through his website, I have called numerous times to the Hull Street Rd. location and the Robious location, I have spoken with 2 different managers ([redacted] and [redacted]), I have left messages, I have written reviews on Yelp and Facebook, and I have yet to hear from Mr. [redacted]. I have since gotten the wiper repaired at my own expense and brought the bill along with a copy of the claim form back to the Hull Street Rd. location and was told it would be given to Mr. [redacted]. And I still haven't heard a thing.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the cost of repairing the rear wiper.

Review: Service was not satisfactory and when I brought it to their attention I was told a manager would take care of it. The manager dismissed me the complaint of soap still dripping off my car and I was told they would not rinse it off again. This location used to provide a great service and product and now has been reduced to sub standard and the worse customer service I have experienced anywhere.

Review: My car was damaged in the car wash. The gas door was ripped off. I watched it happen and had ran and directly reported it before other cars had gone through. No one would get my gas door out of the car wash. I was promised that evening after closure ([redacted]). So, I went up there to get it. I was told in the morning they would look. I called and they said in 24 hours. I called the next day (24 hours later) and another manager ([redacted]), said he would look and call me back. In less than five minutes, he called me back and stated it was in plain sight and apologized but now it was damaged by other vehicles riding over it. Now my part is cracked in two. I would have taken the door and paid myself to have it put back on the day of the incident but after not refusing to search for the part, it now must be replaced. I feel their negligence caused it. I have an accident report from the original incident along with a signed addendum from [redacted] stating the part is crushed. I was promised on the day I picked up my gas door, that I would be contacted in 24 hours again. Still to this day no contact except a reply on facebook to contact them. This incident occurred on 9/16/14. Since then I have called 6 times, left messages and sent several emails. Still no response.Desired Settlement: I need the car repaired at their expense.

I have reviewed the damage claim filed by [redacted] and complaint filed with the Revdex.com. Please see attached waiver that is posted on all menus, signs on site and every customer receipt. We are not able to be liable for these types of damages; there are too many intangibles. Age of vehicle, condition of vehicle and potential existing damage. A vehicle lives in the natural elements, expanding and contracting with the change of weather and parts, especially plastics and unprotected metals, break down over time. In order for a gas cap to be opened and then removed from a vehicle in my wash, there would have to be am existing issue. I am more than willing to work together for a fair resolution for all involved, however we are not responsible for the cost of damage. Again, I am willing to discuss resolution and willing to be helpful in any way possible.

I reject that this business is willing "to discuss resolution and willing to be helpful in any way possible." As I have contacted Dave's Auto Spa, at least, 4 times by phone, three times in person, and two emails and have been told the manager will contact me. I have spoke with [redacted] and [redacted]. The manager has not done this to date. So I dispute that this business is willing to discuss resolution. One call would have resolved this issue.

Review: I am in possession of a DAVE's Pre-Paid CARD #[redacted] in the amount of $100.00. My card was last used on 25 Apr 15 at DAVE's 13550 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA 23112. I attempted to use my card during March, 2016 at the Hull Street location. At that time, my card showed a balance of $2.50 on this card. (Per my last receipt, which I kept to follow balance on my card.) I paid full price for a car wash at that time and was advised to contact JEFF for resolution at e-mail address - [redacted] - because the cashier advised that they were having difficulties with prepays cards. I e-mailed JEFF on a couple occasions without receiving any response. I followed the e-mails with several telephone calls to speak to xJEFF. I was advised on each occasion that JEFF was not available, so I left messages for him to call me, which he never did.Desired Settlement: I have decided that I will no longer patronize Dave's Auto Spa, so I am requesting a refund of the $50.00 that they are cheating me out of.

Review: I visited Daves Auto Spa on February 7, 2014 to get my [redacted] washed. During the wash, the brushes in the car wash ripped my door panel off that runs down the middle of the doors. The onsite manager wrote an incident report and said that I would be contacted in a few days to get my truck fixed. After a week of not hearing from anyone, I spoke to the manager again and was told that the managing partner, [redacted], did not do business via phone and only email. The [redacted] gave me his email and I sent the [redacted] an email. After not hearing back for over another week and three emails later, I went to the business location and spoke with the manager who told the owner to contact me. Finally I received an email from [redacted] stating that he does not care about my damage and it is not his car washes fault but will still meet with me because the customer service aspect of handling my damage was not taken care of in a timely manner. He said he would meet with me over the weekend of the 22-23 and did not. I emailed [redacted] three more times to no response. I then acquired his phone number and left a half dozed messages and still no response. He did not meet with me as he said he would and he did not honor his [redacted] agreement to fix my truck. [redacted] finally responded with a text message which is about as unprofessional as can be and he stated that he does not care about my vehicle and I can contact his lawyer if I see fit. This business has damaged my vehicle in a major way and has not honored the managers word to fix it and told me that they have no interest in taking care of me as a customer and will not speak to me going forward. This is low class and unprofessional and the worst representation of customer service I have ever seen.Desired Settlement: I want my truck fixed as stated. The manager taped the piece that fell of back onto my truck and said I would be contacted in a few days to have it repaired. During all the snow, the tape wore off and the piece the manager taped on has fallen off going down the road somewhere and now I have a huge piece missing from the side of my vehicle. I want this repaired and replaced as promised.

Review: After my car ran through the car wash the attendent (NOT A MANAGER) came to tell me my driver's side mirror had broken off my car.He then pushed a clipboard in my face and said the manager will be here to sign the form (NOT EVEN SPEAK WITH ME!). I told him to get his manager ASAP. When the manager finally got to me he said "Your car is old and every car through today was fine." "You can submit this claim for fixing your mirror but we are covered by our disclaimer" "GOOD LUCK BUDDY"!?!?!Desired Settlement: I want this establishment to A)EITHER FIX MY MIRROR B) PAY TO FIX MY MIRROR.THE AUDACITY OF A COMMUNITY BUSINESS TO TELL A PAYING CUSTOMER SUCH A THING IS ABSURD.Destroying property is one thing but BOLDLY telling a customer there will be no restitution is an entirely different matter.THIS NEEDS TO STOP

Review: I brought my vehicle here to get it washed before I sold, the vehicle never made it into the automated washing service before one of the associates broke off the driver side mirror. The manger on duty that day and I quote, " I hate the way we handle our damaged vehicle report." Thus implying there would be no resolution in my favor or what is right.Desired Settlement: I would like for this business to pay for the damaged received to my vehicle, multiple emails and attempts to contact via phone. [redacted] was not willing to even try and resolve, his resolution was to ignore the situation.

Please allow this as my formal reply to the complaint number [redacted]. First and most important, we have waivers posted on all customer receipts as well as numerous locations on site. Our waiver clearly states we will not and can not be responsible for parts such as mirrors; for obvious and proper reasons. I am not sure how a mirror was damaged before entering the wash process that doesn't seem typical, I have never seen this happen. Secondly, I have certainly not ignored the complaint, I simply have not seen a damage report or been notified about this claim. I would love to know more details and get involved to resolve the situation.
