Review: Dave came to my home in February to repair my TV. After taking off the back of the TV, he said he could not repair the TV at my home and would need to take the TV to his repair center. He charged a initial fee of $60. He knew before the call That I would need to leave at a certain time to go to work. He examined the TV here at my home until the minute I had to leave. Next he made a quick exit asking me to mail him the fee of $60 by check, which I did later that night after work. As a result I have no receipt for his taking the TV. I did not hear from Dave for a few weeks, so I called him. He said that the parts needed were from China or Japan and he could not get these parts. The TV is a Proscan, 18 months old at the time he received it. I also showed him my purchase receipt, so he knew when and from whom it was bought. And how much it cost. I still have that receipt with model number. He told me to forget the TV, that it could not be repaired. I asked him to return it to me, or enable me to get it. He replied that he was taking a vacation trip to Florida and that he would return the TV after his trip to Florida.

I did not hear from Dave again, but in May the $60 check was cashed. First I tried to call him on his preferred phone number. The mailbox message was full. Next I called the second number listed at his web site and on his business card. A woman answered the phone and told me Dave died in March. I explained he had my TV and someone had cashed the check in May. She offered to return the $60. I asked that the TV be returned. It is a 39 in TV and it's value far exceeds the $60. The $60 was a initial fee just for coming to my home and evaluating the TV problem. This service was preformed. The TV was never returned. The woman told me "friends" had taken

all the TVs and she see what she could do. I do not know her name.

I did not here from this woman again, so I sent an email via the web site complaining again and mentioning that I would be complaining through a legitimate source. I also explained to them that I am 74 years old and still work ($10,000 a rear) to supplement my social security income. Now I am writing to you.Desired Settlement: Return of TV.

Review: Prior to Thanksgiving 2014 I contacted [redacted] to repair my 60" Sharp Aquos TV. He took down all of my information and informed me that he would contact my boyfriend, [redacted], over the week of Thanksgiving, to come out to the home and look at my TV. I was on vacation and out of state during that week, but he had never called. When I returned, the first week of December 2014, I contacted him again and he could not recall that I had even called him. He made an appointment to come out to my home on the evening on December 10, 2014 to look at my TV. He was at my home for over 2 hours and could not even tell me what was wrong with my TV, however, he took my power cord to my TV and also my power supply board from my TV and told me he would call me later in the week. He asked for the $49 service call fee and also an additional $75 for fixing the TV (which he did not). I gave him a check on 12/10/14 in the amount of $125, which he deposited on 12/15/14. He told me on 4 different occasions that he would call me and he never did, leaving me to call him each time. He still does not know what is wrong with my TV and continues to "put me off" and give me the run around. I have requested a refund and also my items back to my TV, so I can go elsewhere, but he is not returning my calls or emails. This has been over a month now and he has not repaired my TV or even bothered to try to repair my TV. I filed a claim with my bank to try to get the $125 back.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that he provide me with the full $125 and also my power cord and power supply board! He is very unprofessional and does not know how to adequately run a business. I think he is a fraud. I have a copy of the check that was deposited by [redacted] on 12/15/14.

Review: The owner came to my house on April 9, 2015 to look at a 42" Sharp flat screen TV that needed repair. He spent about an hour and then said he could not fix it at our house, that he needed to take it with him. He knew that we were getting ready to move into another house the next day and I gave him the address for the new house so that he could deliver it when the TV was repaired. I gave him a check for $50 for the house call. About 3 weeks later, after not hearing anything from him, my husband called and he said that he didn't have any of our contact information because we had moved but stated that the TV was fixed and that he would deliver it to us as soon as he could "find it." About a week later I tried to contact him several times and he did not answer either of his business numbers and the mailbox on his cell phone was full so I could not leave a message. I called him daily for about the next 2 weeks and each time he would tell me that he needed to "find" the TV. Apparently he didn't tag it with our name and he couldn't even remember what kind of TV it was (but he remembered that he had fixed it). He also told me that he couldn't find the stand to the TV and would have to buy us a new one. On June 8, 2015, I told him that if he didn't return the TV by June 12, that I was going to file a police report for theft. He said he would find it and deliver it to us. I didn't hear from him at all and when I tried to call the week of June 15, there was no answer. I did file a police report on June 19 and still didn't hear a word from him. He finally answered the phone on July 3 and we agreed that I would pick the TV up from his home on July 6 at 7:00 pm. When I got to his house there was no answer at the door after several attempts at knocking. I called his cell phone and he told me that I said I was going to pick it up that morning or early afternoon. Since I work full time, I know I didn't tell him that. I told him that we had agreed on 7:00 pm. He said that it was his mistake and that he was in Greentree (about 35 minutes away). I told him that he needed to deliver the TV to my house that same evening and he agreed that he would. He took down my address. At 10:05 pm he called and stated that he was heading back into town and would go pick the TV up and deliver it then if I wanted to or he would deliver it the next day (which is today) after 5:30 pm. Hopefully he will stick to his word and deliver the TV today.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $50 that I paid him and I want my TV back, along with the original stand or a replacement stand.
