I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11427520, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Provided all documentation is submitted to me by 6-15-16 regarding the rebate and warranty work. Specifically an invoice breaking down the work done and parts used. I will submit this to HMS.
On April 2, 2016 we were contacted by Mr [redacted] requesting warranty repair on his furnace. We informed him after April 1st we no longer have emergency services but we would send someone out. We informed him that a service call of $154.95 would be applied. Upon inspection of service it was determined...
there was an issue with gas supply. We asked Mr. [redacted] if he had gas to the house he said yes. We then checked his water heater. Mr. [redacted] said " Yes I have hot water so the gas must be on". We returned to the gas return, no gas was coming thru as per normal procedure. We tapped on the gas valve and the solnd was engaging, so we could determine nothing from that. He instisted the gas was turned on which determined the gas valve was defective. We returned Sunday April 3rd, 2016 to replace part with new part being charged $60 for return trip. Mr. [redacted] Agreed, he informed us it was on and working. Since we confirmed through him that the gas was on we assumed as the home owner Mr. [redacted] would know the status of own utilities. We Agreed to partial refund to customer.
