This letter shall confirm receipt of your letter dated March 16, 2015, and received on March 18, 2015. Your letter requests a response within fifteen (15) business days from the date of your letter or before Friday, April 03, 2015. Pursuant to your request, Auto House's response is being sent via...

After review of Mr. [redacted]'s allegations, Auto House provides the following response1.      Auto House is a used automobile dealership located in the city of Terre Haute, Indiana, hereinafter referred to as "DEALER";2.      DEALER has been in business since 1985 and has a sterling reputation in the community and with the Revdex.com;3.      DEALER allows some third parties who are desirous of selling their vehicles to place a third party vehicle on it's lot;4.      In these instances, DEALER is NOT acting as a Seller, but as a Facilitator;5.      In this case, the following facts are relevant:A.     That the Seller was [redacted], who is a local orthopedic surgeon, hereinafter referred to as "SELLER";B.     That on October 15, 1998, SELLER purchased a 1989 Porsche 911;C.     That on October 16, 1999, SELLER obtained an Indiana Certificate of Title which evidenced that the Odometer was "not actual";D.     That SELLER drove and enjoyed the vehicle from October 15, 1998 until October 07, 2014, some seventeen (17) years;E.     That on October 07, 2014, Scot Alan [redacted], hereinafter referred to as "PURCHASER", contacted SELLER and after some discussion, agreed to purchase SELLER's vehicle for the sum of $21,000.00 plus tax;F.     That as a courtesy to SELLER, DEALER completed a VIN Check on the Indiana Title and the Title returned as "clean";G.     That SELLER provided the PURCHASER with an Indiana Certificate of Title;H.     That SELLER executed the Indiana Certificate of Title in exchange for PURCHASER's payment of money.I.  That after the sale, PURCHASER contacted SELLER and advised SELLER that the Indiana Certificate of Title could not be transferred in the State of Missouri;J.     That after several telephone calls, SELLER telephoned DEALER to request their assistance in the Title discrepancy;K.     That it is unclear how a "clean" Indiana Certificate of Title cannot be transferred in the State of Missouri, however DEALER agreed to help in the discrepancy;L.     That after several telephone calls and weeks of delays, DEALER and/or SELLER have not be able to determine the source of the Title discrepancy;M.     That it may take a few months to resolve the Title discrepancy, inasmuch as it involves the State of California, State of Washington, State of Missouri and the State of Indiana;6.     That after DEALER determined the Title discrepancy, DEALER contacted SELLER and recommended that SELLER return PURCHASER's money in exchange for the return of the vehicle;7.     That SELLER agreed to return PURCHASER'S money in exchange for return of the vehicle;8.     That to date, PURCHASER has not accepted SELLER's offer;9.     That DEALER had independently attempted to telephone PURCHASER to facilitate the return of the vehicle and the payment of PURCHASER's money, however PURCHASER has NOT returned telephone calls and messages that were left for PURCHASER.As of the date of this letter, SELLER is still willing to pay to PURCHASER the full amount of the purchase price to PURCHASER in exchange for return of the vehicle.Said offer remains open.If DEALER can help facilitate the exchange, DEALER remains willing, ready and able to help in said Facilitation.If Auto House can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned counsel.Sincerely Yours,E[redacted] Law OfficesKaleel M.
