I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], Dave the owner apologized and fixed the leak and made it right. I do suggest he keeps his temper in check for future customers as this would have never been reported had he just did the right thing without hanging up on a customer.I consider this closed but will never do business with them again.

I highly recommend Dave's Sprinkler Repair! I was struggling to resolve why my irrigation system was not turning on and, of course, I live in a 20+ yr old home and the manual is long gone. I reached out to Dave's Sprinkler Repair and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He actually walked me through my system, via the phone, and explained to me how it worked. I was astonished that someone in this day and age would take the time to do that in lieu of a service call. He knew my system immediately and quickly resolved my dilemma. His professionalism and expertise were top notch. I HIGHLY recommend using this service!

[redacted] has done two jobs for me. He replaced three sprinkler valves; he replaced a severely leaking drip system pipe under my driveway. Both jobs were done in a very timely manner for a very reasonable cost. [redacted] had all of the right tools and knowledge to do both jobs. I am extremely impressed with his work.

I ran into some problems with an anti-syphon valve I had installed with a home sprinkler system in Leisure World, Mesa, AZ. Dave spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me discussing my problem/concern. He told me that my anti-syphon valve top cap might just need some tightening to stop the leak, and also that my installation was pretty typical, i.e. no design flaws. The tightening worked!

I had to get this project done before some contractors arrived for patio work and I was a bit panicked. Dave could have taken advantage of me but didn't. Much appreciated.

The valves on my sprinkler system were leaking (we were unable to use it). I left Dave a voicemail and within an hour he called me back. I explained the issue to him and he was able to fit me in a couple days later. After inspecting it, he explained thoroughly what the root cause was and what was needed to resolve it. He was straight to the point and also very polite. He did the repairs and cleaned up behind himself (you couldn't tell he had been there). I am very pleased with him and the work. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

[redacted] is open, honest, and refreshingly straight forward. I had a difficult sprinkler problem. He told me some steps he could take that might not fix things, but were the logical things to try. His efforts partially solved the problems. We agreed to not spend any more at this time but to monitor the system's operation. His low pressure approach with no attempt to push me into additional costs was appreciated.

Excellent service all around! Dave gave much forethought to a complicated task, which in the end fixed everything professionally while saving me money.

I left a message on their voice mail and Dave returned my call just a couple of hours later. He asked what my problem was and I told him I had a sinkhole from my drip system. we settled on an appointment two days hence between 11 and 1 PM.

Around noon on the specified day, Dave called and told me he was on his way but was about 45 minutes away and asked if that was alright. It was fine since he was still within the original time bracket he specified but I was impressed that he was thoughtful enough to let me know where he was.

Dave arrived when he said he would and we discussed the problem with my dripline leak. I also asked several questions about when it was time to redo the dripline and whether or not the dripline design in my system was adequate. This entailed a lot of explaining on his part and he gave me a great education during about a 45-minute interval about how my system should work along with appropriate schedules for my drip and sprinkler systems.

He then very quickly reprogrammed my water system and began to work on my sinkhole. Within just a very short time he had the dripline patched and everything was working perfectly.

The charge for this was eminently reasonable and I was left with an extremely good taste in my mouth from the whole experience with Dave. We need more people like Dave in today’s world. I for one am very grateful for his competent facility for watering systems and his very friendly demeanor. Thank you very much….

August 22 we discovered our watering system was not shutting off despite our best efforts. August 23 we called Dave with a semi-urgent request asking if he could come ASAP and fix it -- or if not, at least call us to say he could not come quickly. (We used him in the past for another issue.) Today is 8/28 and we still have not received a return phone call. This is the second time in about 6 months that we called him for repairs and never received a return phone call.

Dave came out to check a large leak in our front yard. I was not home while he was here so I really can't say how much time he spent. He did call me and say it was a water main leak and would be very costly and he suggested I get 3 estimates from reliable contractors. He also reset our sprinkler timer. This cost me $125. I got a reliable contractor to come and look at the leak and he said it was just a sprinkler leak that any landscaper could fix. This cost me $50. My husband called Dave back and Dave proceeded to argue with him and tell him that wasn't the case. My husband ask him to come back and fix it and he refused saying he was booked for the next few weeks. We then called our normal landscaper he was here 10 minutes and $25 later the leak was fixed. Yes it was a landscaping issue which cost me an extra $175.00

Let me say first that I have written a response to this three times. The first two times all my writing just disappeared after about thirty minutes of writing. I've spent a lot of wasted time just responding to this. After writing my response, it keeps giving me an error saying I'm over the 2000...

I could not fit half of my side of the story in this amount of space so I erased it all again and will just say that the leak in question was not there when the job was completed, and Mrs. [redacted] can verify this because we walked the entire property together while the system was running. There were NO leaks. I apologized to Mr. [redacted] several times for hanging up on him. I went back, repaired the leak for free, and then was penalized another thirty dollars when he rewrote the check. He knows I'm right, his wife knows I'm right, and I know I'm right. But in the end, the customer is always right, and I payed the penalty for sure.

Dave was very responsive to my service request and provided a repair estimate at a reasonable price with quality work. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for sprinkler system work. Great service!
