Dave's Water Treatment and Pumps Reviews (5)

Not only does Dave's provide incredible pricing but also hands down the best service I've ever received. The area where Dave performed work was cleaner after he left than when he arrived and everything he did was very neat and professional. He gave very clear instructions on what to do for the first day to ensure my water become clean and insisted that I call at any time day or night if for some reason a problem occurred or if I had any questions. Dave came over a couple weeks later to take a sample and test the water on the spot to ensure my levels were normal and I stood right there as he showed me the results of the test. I could not be happier with the taste and feel of my new water. I would recommend Dave to anyone and everyone that has a problem with their water. He is one of the friendliest and most professional business owners I've ever come across in my lifetime, and after seeing the Revdex.com sticker on his vehicle I knew I would visit this site to give him as positive a review as possible!

In respond to the the complaint, Both the well pump and the wire were replaced. The complainant stated he was planning on replacing the wire at the cost of $1700.00. To settle this dispute we will refund $444.00 which is the difference of what was paid and what he would have paid to replace the...

wire with his other company. I will not respond to the the complainants opinions and hopefully we can resolve this in a reasonable way.  Thank you

Review: on the evening of 10-13-15 I realized I had no water (prospect is mainly well water) Up to this date I had used a local company with a great track record, unfortunately he was on vacation when this occurred. I had utilized Dave's Water treatment service several months before and called him. Dave came over that evening and conducted a couple of tests in the basement and stated my pump was dead. I had told Dave, the current pump was only 5 years old and it was a surprise. I did state to Dave that 5 years prior, the pump had not died but one of the wires broke and because our well is 415 feet deep we should think about installing a new pump. The cost is expense of pulling the wire and pump above ground. That break occurred at 390 feet, the break was fixed and new pump installed. In June of 2015 once again we had no water, our company came out, tested the wires and new it was a break. This is how our first experience went as well, the first task performed is testing the wire to rule in or out certain issues. In 2015 the break was only 40 feet below ground level, it was fixed and placed back in the well. At this time, my wife and I were planning on changing the wires ($1,700.00) so this would not happen again but when the break was found to be only 40 feet deep we decided if we could get 3-5more years out of this wire we would have them replaced along with a new well. **When our contractor was back from vacation he came over to take a look at the pump (he was very surprised it had only lasted 5 years) The pump was tested and found out to be in perfect order. When I discussed this with Dave, he stated it is procedure (for him) to check only two of the three wires and if the problem isn't found that the pump is replaced. If Dave new what to look for and tested the 3rd wire he would have known what the real problem was. When I asked Dave if he noticed any broken wires he said know and that the task went quickly. One of my concerns is that Dave was not trained correctly and has cost homeowners countless thousands of dollars. The cost of my repair/replace was $2,144.00. The cost of the broken wire at 40 feet was less than $100.00Desired Settlement: I would like Dave to understand his business/trade better so not to charge homeowners money they did not need to.

I would also like a refund for 80% of the work performed and products installed.
