I have used MrChilders for many years and have always been happy with the quality of service he and/or his crew delivers This is a small, family run business I don't have to worry about who shows up to do the work because they're all trustworthy and honest I recently had to have a new heatpump installed due to the age of the previous unit and its demise after many years of good service Although it was not originally installed by Childers, my new one was and I know I don't have to worry about the installation The pride they take in their work is evident and I can rest easy knowing it was done right My old heatpump always had something wrong with itCheap parts were usually the culprit along with what I felt was a little incompetence in the repair After contacting MrChilders, I found he used higher quality parts, when they were needed, and with his and his teams know how, my old heatpump actually needed less attention for the remainder of its lifeGo figure!

[redacted] �� told him no, that the picture was herHe laughed and responded "Well, what happened to you?" She was shell shocked by the comment and only replied that years and three kids had happened to herHe completed the work and left [redacted] later called me at work and told me about the hurtful and inappropriate commentI as any husband would be, was angered beyond beliefI immediately called the company and got to speak with the receptionist, who happens to be his wifeI explained what happened, how angry we were and that I expected Mr [redacted] to come by and apologize for insulting my wifeI let her know that I would be home at 3:waiting on himShe feared for his safety and I assured her I wouldn't hurt him, but that the wrong needed to be correctedShe told me he would be there as close to 3:as he could as he still had a job to finish up that afternoon Fast forward to 5:at my house and Mr [redacted] has yet to showI call the business line and get their voice-mailI text the contact number I had been provided to check on Mr [redacted] ' location and to ensure that he was still coming byHis wife responded to me that he would not be coming byto apologize, that she was just too scared for his safety I wanted to share this so others in the community would know that at [redacted] Heating and Cooling honor and integrity are only tag lines they use on their websiteThe owner was too much of a coward to come and make amends for the hurtful things he said to my wife

After having my semi annual HVAC maintenance by *** two weeks before, my AC did not cool my houseOne of my sons recommended I call David Childers Heating and Air because he serviced two different homes in which my son and his family have lived over the past seven or eight years and they have had excellent resultsWhen MrChilders arrived at our home he asked me to describe our problem with the ACAfter telling him what we had been experiencing (post ***'s supposed maintenance of our system) , MrChilders went to work checking the entire system (Heat Pump, fan, Chilling Tower, etc.)MrChilders reported finding no visible leak (***'s Tech said there was a leak and said the only way to fix it was for us to buy a new system from ***)What MrChilders did report was that our Freon coolant was down to 20% of normalMrChilders promised to come back in a week to see whether the Freon level has dropped from what it was after he filled it up to the required level

I explained what happened, how angry we were and that I expected Mr. [redacted] to come by and apologize for insulting my wife. I let her know that I would be home at 3:30 waiting on him. She feared for his safety and I assured her I wouldn't hurt him, but that the wrong needed to be corrected. She told me he would be there as close to 3:30 as he could as he still had a job to finish up that afternoon.

Fast forward to 5:30 at my house and Mr. [redacted] has yet to show. I call the business line and get their voice-mail. I text the contact number I had been provided to check on Mr. [redacted]' location and to ensure that he was still coming by. His wife responded to me that he would not be coming by. to apologize, that she was just too scared for his safety.

I wanted to share this so others in the community would know that at [redacted] Heating and Cooling honor and integrity are only tag lines they use on their website. The owner was too much of a coward to come and make amends for the hurtful things he said to my wife.
