Price way to highGarage pad rebar was not lifted when poured(I watched them) (Lots of cracks more and more severe than normal) when I brought this up with the super I was argued withAttic was not ventilated.(getting lots of moisture) when I said something I was argued with then a poor job was done (only static vents installed in the wrong location)Garage door uprights are not plum, when I brought this up I was asked "are you really going to complain about a 1/4" over 8' (well yes I am because when one is out1/4" one way and the other is 1/4" the other it looks really crooked) I see this every time I pull up to my garageThe black top they used as a transition slope into the garage is now a 1/2" away from the pad and Is constantly chipping and pitting awayThis winter the garage shifted and moved so much I couldn't go in though the man doorAll in all I paid way to much ($for a 17' by 24' shell only no electrical no drywall low quality garage) Very dissatisfied
I was very disappointed when trying to arrange a quote as I was told they would not come out unless my husband was availableWhat if I was single would they refused to deal with me? The quote needed was for my business not for something where an others opinion was neededI understand wanting clients to be serious about moving forward with a build but at the quoting stage the point is priceNow they won't get our business because they were rude
After doing some research online and getting quite a few quotes we chose to go with PLANitTheir customer service from day one was amazing!! It is not the easiest thing in the world to have people coming and going through your house and living through a renovation for monthsBut Joe *** made that process times easier for meEverything does not always go perfect on the job or as a home owner we make changes, but Joe did not waste any time getting things fixed or work with me on the changesJoe updated me on the job weekly and if anything was going to changed he would email or call me to let me know things were pushed a day or two earlier or laterI would highly recommend PLANit, especially Joe Parker!! Thank you Joe for managing my project to 110%! - Jess
PlanIT Builder president and vp met with me and my wife. They are great SALES people. So naturally, I hired them. I was given an estimate of 6-8 weeks. My basement development included 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a recreation room. Pretty simple I thought. It has taken them 12 weeks to finish the project. They had too many issues with supplier, contractors not showing up, etc. etc. It seems they have poorly managed the project and exceeded well over the timeline. There were many days the contractors never show up in the house and wasted too much valuable time. I would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from hiring them. I will NEVER deal with this company ever again!!! The frustrations, grief, missed deadlines.....it's just not worth it. I paid a total of 35,000 and I'm not even happy. Very unprofessional and sloppy company!
