Review: David Jacobson asked for and was given 40% of his asking price up front, completed about 10% of the job then never returned to finish the job.
He gave me a contract agreeing to paint the trim on my house for $975.00. He asked for $400 up front which I gave him. He put in about five hours of work then never returned or returned my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like a return of my $400 minus $100 for the job he completed.

David Jacobson called me and said he would return $300 to me and pick up his ladder and drop clothes. That was 2 or 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard him since, despite my repeated calls.
I saw him on the street and he ducked into a building rather than talk to me.
