David Jones Construction

My wife and I hired David Jones Construction to do several different jobs around our house while I was laid up with Shoulder surgery. One to add an extension to our home. He left us without a step out the back door. He talked us into paying minus about $500 for the concrete step and his promise to return after Christmas 2 years ago. He never returned to complete the work. He was contracted to replace the roof on our house and after waiting 8 months after he completed the extension the roof was still not done, we had to hire someone else to do the work. He stated to me afterwards that we were in violation of the contract as he didn't have a work must be completed by date so he was not the one in the wrong and refused to reimburse me for the work he didn't do. He left our yard torn up after partially completing the project of the extension and never came to repair the damage to the yard or driveway caused by his equipment since he was working during the wrong weather conditions.
