Review: Mr. G[redacted] has taken money from his clients who's deceased family members have life insurance and is refusing to return said funds. [redacted] is taking advantage of people during the most difficult part of there life.Desired Settlement: Return Money taken from Me.

Review: The services were provider to bury my mother in May 2014 involving pre-planning services for over $8,000.00. Contract that was signed for advance payment for extras services for the sum of $2,500.00 was signed but then declined verbally via telephone the next day. Insurance money was awarded later on but the contract that was verbally cancelled via phone was not honored. Therefore it was placed in for the full sum of the life insurance of $25,000.00. The balance of a little over $16,000 was supposed to be given to family but it was not honored because there has been two checks that were distributed to family member that bounced. Therefore the funeral home used all $25,000.00 of life insurance and has not made funds available in bank.Desired Settlement: I would like the to obtain the money that is owed as contracted.

Review: [redacted] handled the New York side of a funeral service for my mother [redacted]. He was to embalm, dress and transport my mom for a North Carolina Funeral. My mother passed on December *. [redacted] never paid the Funeral Home in North Carolina. He handled both policies stating that he would be the one to pay the Funeral home in North Carolina. Out of the insurance policy We allocated $2000 for the headstone. He received both insurance checks and he never paid the Funeral Home in North Carolina. He's holding over $6900 that's for the funeral home in North Carolina. Every time I call we are given the run around. We had to make further arrangements with the Funeral home in North Carolina to have my mom put in a vault because that was not included in the original arrangements prompting me and my 3 siblings to pay an extra $28000. Me and my sister sent the North Carolina Funeral Home $1400 to cover our part for the additional arrangements and the North Carolina Funeral Home kept our $1400 and put it towards my mother's funeral bill because the Funeral home in NY never paid them. After numerous calls he stated that he did receive the check and he was waiting for the check to clear so he can pay them, that was weeks ago. Still no payment was made. The ppl at the funeral home said that he was out of town numerous times. He would come back, then leave back out of town again. He just returned back in town again and the call today to the Funeral home I was told that he was in a car accident and has a broken hip and they don't know when he will be back in. He is the only one who writes any payments or checks for the company. He is not returning no calls at all. [redacted] ###-###-#### did the service in North Carolina. They can give further details about this situationDesired Settlement: We want him to pay the Funeral Home in North Carolina so they can release our money so the Funeral Home in North Carolina can move forward with placing my mother in a vault and move forward with ordering her headstone. We want to put my mother to rest and finish her wishes. We need this resolved so we along with my mother can be at peace
