MrN [redacted] arrived promptly as scheduled He introduced himself and commenced to gathering information regarding our chimney problems He was prepared with a camera to take picture and show them to us as he discussed the approach he felt was needed to repair our chimneyHe returned a couple of weeks later with the material and made the repairs We have not had any further water leakage problems MrN [redacted] was our third estimate, so we had an idea of what work was required to make the repairs We did not feel he tried to baffle us with his knowledge He was very straight forward and stated the prior estimates we received were temporary fixes and would not solve our water problems in the long run He was proposing a permanent fixThere was something about him we felt was honest and sincere Even though he was not the cheapest estimate (but his price was reasonable), he was the right estimate!! I would say Mr. Newton presents himself as a rare combination of skilled tradesman with old fashioned excellent customer service who is also well credentialed and savvy about up-to-date solutions for today's challenges. We plan on calling him yearly for our chimney cleaning and will refer him to others.
