David R. Godine Publisher

Review: On Apr 30 2014, the Twitter account @GodinePub announced a contest where a randomly selected winner would receive three books for free. The text of that tweet is:

What’s your favorite Godine book and why? Winner will be randomly selected! Bonus: today's winner will receive THREE books for free!

Later that day, I was notified that I was the winner.

The next day I emailed my choices of three books to the specified address. My email was never answered, and my books have never arrived. After three or four weeks, I attempted to reach the company via @GodinePub, as the account is active and the contest was held on Twitter. Several attempts have gone unanswered.

I've always considered David R. Godine to be one of the finer publishers in the United States, and I am disappointed that they would not honor the results of this contest, and do not understand why they would a) do something to harm their reputation or b) not investigate my communications if, for some reason, their account had been compromised and this contest was run falsely. Which seems highly unlikely.Desired Settlement: Shipment of the three books I supposedly won:
