Review: I gave Mr. Richardson all of the information he needed to complete the forms for our tax return, which were essentially our W2s. We were residences of 2 different states and 1 district between 2012 and 2013 (AL, VA and DC)-I provided W2s for all 3. 1. When I was initially preparing to mail off the tax forms I noticed several typographical errors. My husband's SSN was incorrect; the spelling of his last name was incorrect; the address was incorrect/spelled wrong. I called to notify Mr. Richardson and he blamed it all on me-he proceeded to yell at me and tell me it was because I gave him the wrong information-which was not true. Our information was correct on our W2s & all he had to do was copy it over. How was it correct on one page and wrong on the others if I provided wrong info?2. After he "fixed" the typos I mailed the forms off - only to get notifications via mail that I had not signed the forms. He did not tell me to sign anything...he had everything stapled together, provided the envelopes and advised that I "just mail them off". So now, I am having to pay to send the documents off a second time. I made a total of 2 trips to his office, 2 trips to the post office, and had 2 different instances of paying to send the documents back to the IRS/Tax offices - so my time, wear and tear on my car, gas, etc...are all being wasted. When I called to get his help fixing the issue he yelled and talked down to me like I was the sm of the Earth - meanwhile, I had the utmost respect for him as my elder. He told me to "shut my flap", "shut up", etc... several different times. He yelled over me and would not allow me to get a word in and even "scolded" me because I called to check on the status of my return as though I had no right to. I've spent hours on the phone trying to fix this mess and had to drive to the DC tax office to find out how it was possible to owe $10K and we only lived there 5 mos. DC & AL tax offices told me that he needs to refund our money for the mess he created.Desired Settlement: Mr. Richardson has caused me more issues than I could ever have imagined. I've spent countless hours on the phone; made several extra trips; & had to spend extra money trying to get this resolved. Yet, he has not offered so much as an apology and was VERY rude to me - so much so that I don't feel comfortable calling him again to have him fix this mess. It was recommended that I go to someone else and have them fix all of it - which would cost me MORE money. I'd like my $450 back, please...

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. Richardson absolutely did NOT do all that he could to assist me. He caused more harm than good and when I reached out to him to try to have the issues resolved, I got nothing other than rudeness and hostility. I did not get the services I paid him for...he messed my taxes up SO badly that representatives in other tax offices completely advised against ever going back to him when they saw the mess that he made. I ended up spending more money than I should have in order to get this fixed... I wound up having to pay a different tax preparer just to fix everything. All I want is my money back from Mr. Richardson. I could open up a lawsuit against him, I could ask for him to reimburse me for what I had to pay to have his mess fixed... I could sue for all of my wasted time and gas and his unprofessionalism and hostility... For his refusing to help when I asked him in the nicest manner AFTER I paid my money to him... But I simply want my money back. Period. Nothing more, nothing less. At the end of the day, I paid to have my taxes done properly...and that's not what I got. I am completely dissatisfied with his response, which was merely copies of the taxes that he messed up. That does not clear up anything whatsoever...and does not rectify this issue in any way...
