I hired *** the end of October to replace my flooring and shower in my bathroom. *** sent out his employee named *** to do the job. I think the job was over his pay grade. He told me usually it takes 2 men to do the job. Numerous original tiles were cracked and broken in the shower, the shower door was installed crooked, the glass is wobbly and it leaks on the tile floor. I informed *** many times re: the problems and asked him to come out to inspect the job. He always had an excuse and never came out. I want the job corrected or the money to hire another company to make the repairs. I find the shower dangerous to use at this time. I’m 74 years old and need to feel safe taking a shower. I think the only way the chipped and broken tiles can be fixed is by replacing all the tiles in the shower. The last correspondence I had with *** by text was ignored.
My Name is *** I am a flooring contractor in Fresno Ca, This letter is in response to a complaint that I was named in. I n October I was contacted by *** she asked me if I could come out and give her a bid for some repairs to her bathroom, at that time I told her I was busy but I could come out and take a look at it. After looking at the bathroom I informed Mrs. my schedule was full but I would be happy to give her a name of someone else who could possibly help her with repairs. *** contacted her and from my understanding the two decided on what repairs were necessary and at what price the job would cost. I never billed Mrs. for any work nor was I paid for any work that took place at her home. It is my understanding that *** was paid by check in his name for the work that was done in her home. I informed Mrs. many times that she would have to follow up with *** for any further questions or repairs in this matter. As a courtesy to Mrs. I have reached out to her and have agreed to go to her home and look at the repairs that have been done, I am in no means responsible for the repairs but since it has come to my attention I feel a response is appropriate so a resolution can be reached.
I am rejecting this response because:

This is not going to resolve the issue that I will have to pay a new contractor to repair the damage and possibly have to replace all the tile in the shower because original tiles are chipped and broken.
*** is lying. He came out and gave me a price of $950.00 to do the job. I was to purchase the tile. After the tile arrived I notified *** and set up a time for the work to start. *** came out and said he works for *** and was to do the job. Yes, the checks were written to ***. I called *** several times to come out because of all the damages that were done with the installation. *** finally came yesterday and did admit the job was “S
