As a member of the Arkansas Revdex.com myself, this is naturally the first place we look when we need any type of business person, due to the trust we have with this organization.
Mr. David S. is an amazing contractor! He is honest, competent, and very talented. He has been in the business for many years and there is nothing that he can't do. We had him go out and look over a property that we were potentially going to purchase, in fact we were very close t the closing date, we just wanted an outside opinion- from someone unbiased that was not recommended by our realtor. (Which we later fond out is unethical for a realtor too recommend any type of contractor or inspector, etc.
With Mr. S.'s expertise and experience he was able to give us a true and accurate picture of what we were about to get ourselves into with this large property. Because of his honesty and integrity about the real issues of the property, we were able to get out of that contract. The information that the realtor and all of her 'experts' that she recommended painted a very different picture of what was truly wrong with the property.
We knew there was water damage due to a hole in the roof and continuous leaking because of this damage. We were told by several 'experts',, again recommended by the realtor, that the damage could be fixed. There was also mold in the house, due to water damage. We spent thousands of dollars to have special testing done by mold experts, as well as an industry referred to as ' house hygienists' . None of these individuals were completely honest with us, they kept telling us that the problem could be fixed. This was simply NOT the case.
Mold can never truly be 'fixed' and would continue to return, specifically due to the way the house was built on the riverbank with terrible drainage.
Without Mr. S.'s honesty and integrity we would have gone ahead and purchased the home, and we would have never been able to recover financially due to the continuous problems presented by the way the house was built. He was the only one - out of more than 10 people that are supposedly experts in their field, or business that explained to us the continuous problems that would recur forever.
Mr. Davis S. has our utmost respect and we would recommend him to anyone that is in need of any kind of contract work.
Since that incident, he has built us a magnificent deck on the back of another one of our river front properties, and we could not be more pleased. He does not take shortcuts in anything that he does, and the results speak for themselves. He is AWESOME!!!
